That was a nasty ass leg snap!
Man... brutal seeing him there yelling in pain... I feel bad for him... and they're doing the interview in the cage while he's still there in pain...
Lol great attitude huh? He runs up to anderson while hes screaming in pain on the ground, puts a hand on his shoulder and shouts your a ***** before being told not now chris by someone.
I didn't hear him say that. I thought he went over to check on him. He has always seemed to have the utmost respect for Silva, even his post fight Interview confirms that. If this Is true then I retract my prior comment.
Tragic way to end a great career. In his prime Silva was the equivalent to a RJJ In his prime. It's a shame he had to go out this way but this Weidman kid seems like a pretty special fighter, that Is very humble and has a wonderful attitude.

Does anyone know if a boxer has ever broke his arm/wrist during a fight like that?
Sure has! Durring a female boxing match, you tube it. Cant remeber their names of course but sure did happen. Also, some euro fight where a black fighter got knocked down by the euro fighter and when he gets up hes walking all funny and doesnt realize his foot is pointing b backwards

If any of you have seen the movie Undisputed 3, this exact thing basically happens...and I thought at first that it was really bad special effects and the real thing would not look like that...I was wrong!:puke: Check out the vid below, skip to 7:50!
Horrible way to lose/end your career. Silva done some really bad damage there. Very doubtful he will ever be seen again in the cage.
Great check by Wiedman though.
oh, and his career is almost certainly over. he'll be 39 in april. he is the best MMA fighter of all time.
Nahh I think Fedor is.
Silva comes as a close second though.
enjoy that last $600K paycheck, dawg. the UFC rapes their fighters. $600K for a f#cking ppv headline fight with the best MMA fighter ever? that's insulting.
danny and lucas made more than that fighting on floyd's undercard.
Yeah that's disgusting. Dude is the GOAT, headlining a "super fight" PPV and made that little? All the while risking a horrific injury like that, too.
Poor dude. That was a good check by Weidman, but Silva is obviously breaking down and should get out before something even worse happens. I'd imagine this will mean retirement.

Depending on his financial situation this might actually make a move to boxing more likely.
He may be able to recover but he's not going to be able to throw kicks with that leg or take kicks to that leg so if he still wants to make money he might move to boxing where there's no kicks.
Silva is going to get more broken bones... in his face.

Silva gon need money so he will definitely move to boxing with some freak show fight against Jones or possibly has beens like Tarver or Toney.
Oh Snap!!
That was crazy.
Weidman is a MONSTER.
Weids said he'd been training to check Silva's leg kicks by using his knees, which hurts the guy kicking. And if you look at Silvas leg break, what do you see? His shin goes to the side and back of Weids knee and BANG, SNAP, WALLOP!
