Dunno about this, the Philippines is not a rich country and I've never heard of politics being lucrative over there. Manny's made a sh1t ton of money over the years, that's a natural fact but what's also factual is that because he chose to venture out to activities that had nothing to do with boxing (politics) he was intentionally minimizing his profit. His politics won't earn him a fraction of what he makes in a single fight. His politics earn him national appeal and approval but nothing more. If Pacquiao gets past Bradley, they should be willing to settle for $35 million for a Mayweather fight because that's the best they're ever going to get again. I'm not sure if they take it though because I dont think Arum has that much humility in him. Not necessarily, his negotiating position couldn't be weaker now, with Floyd coming off Canelo and him off Rios.
