It's so kind of you to give Mayweather a win over Pacquiao he never earned when he won't fight him. Most fans want them to fight of course. Why do you think it's still the most talked about fight in the sport? You say you don't care about the fight but still you are talking about the fight. The fight will absolutely not ever happen in my opinion. For a fight to happen both fighters must be wiling to fight. Pacquiao has always been willing to fight Mayweather but regardless of what he has said or is saying Mayweather never intended to fight Pacquiao and he never will fight him. I think Mayweather knows Pacquiao will not be an easy fight for him so he will continue to fight guys like Khan instead.

This is still a match between the best offensive fighter and best defensive fighter of this generation. It is a perfect styles match. Manny's activity, speed, movement and power are all threats to Floyd, I think everyone by now is picking Mayweather to win (and they were picking him three years ago) but it would still be a hell of an entertaining fight to see. Anyone who says they don't want to see this match is lying and probably trolling.

Yes, because Pac is still the best possible opponent at welterweight until proven otherwise, and because the sport needs to move the hell on already. Do I particularly care? No. Does it matter even half as much as it would have almost 4 years ago? Not even close.

That makes sense, but there's the Arum wall blocking the view. Bradley's contract isnt up until the end of 2014 unless Arum makes him resign to get Pacquiao in which case the fight with Mayweather will never happen.

Tim Bradley does not draw like Pacquiao does and chances are he never will, even considering Pacquiao's recent hit in performance. He's definitely Bob's best fighter at the moment but he's not exactly a lucrative asset that needs protecting. The promotional issues are undeniable, let's hope that money ends up talking.

Would be worth watching even more if Manny continues to win and earns a couple more titles. That would legitimize the fight even more so. No sense taking on Manny coming off a string losses if only to quiet down the trolls who desperately want to see it happen now.

From an event perspective yes I do. Yes its been a long time but SRL v Hagler was 5 years in the making as well. Its still the biggest event in boxing. From a fight perspective, I'd rather watch floyd v martinez and manny v provodnikov.
