That is the only reason he didn't win that fight. He hit Maidana with everything in the book rounds 3-7 and could have easily merited a knockdown, he didn't really look bad compared to his other fights just the fact that he didn't have much power. Discuss.
nothing is wrong with his power. He just got the shlt beat out of him.
Exactly. Broner still has pop, just not as much pop as freakin Maidana. It happens.

He moved up 2 weight classes. Instead of growing into the weight solidly he just jumped up there. I think his power will come eventually but maybe he should try 140 before going to 147.
Boxing is a game where the one who gets momentum wins the fight. Maidana got the momentum going and Broner was not that good. I saw Broner get the momentum in his earlier fights, but he was fighting not so quality fighters before this one.
Well it's a lot harder to knock out fighters your own size, or ones that may be a bit bigger than you.
Broner has been knocking out midgets and fighters way smaller than him. Now that he's moved up to welterweight we see what his true power is like.
He has punching power, but don't expect the type of power you saw against Gavin Rees or Eloy perez.
For those saying that Maidana was way bigger, he was only 5 lbs heavier... Broner entered at 156, Maidana was 161...
He had the same power he has always had and Maidana said he hit very hard. Maidana is much tougher than the guys Broner KOed in the past. He lost the fight for many more reasons than a lack of KO power. His work rate was poor. He averaged 33 punches a round compared to 79 punches a round for Maidana. He defense against Maidana's combinations was very poor. He was not able to slip, duck or block many of Maidana's punches and he had to grab Maidana with both hands and hold on for dear life while Maidana continued to pound away. He lost because he fought a better, more skillful, tougher, more determined fighter with better stamina. Maidana will beat Broner every time and I'll bet on that.
I agree on why he lost but I think Broner will avenge his loss
Not really. I didn't see his power against Ponce De Leon either, a guy who has had some brutal KO's before and after Broner.
Okay then what about the other 25 fights outside of PDL & his jump up that saw him record 22 stoppages in 25 fights.
I'm not saying AB has phenomenal power or anything, and his power straight the f**k up sucks at WW, but at the lower weight classes, yes, he had power.
well you see what happened was he stopped fighting midgets
Exactly.
And why the hell is Miley Cyrus always sticking her goddamn tongue out? Does she think she's a lizard?
Ummmm....moving up two weight classes maybe? Idk just throwing that out there ;)
