What has me concerned is that Ariza said he was helping Maidana blow his nose which is a complete lie. Maidana was inhaling whatever was in that napkin which I think is smelling salts.

If that was ammonia it would have made Maidana cough because you aren't supposed to put it right close to the nose - you're supposed to hold it 4 to 6 inches away. If it's too close it causes coughing, spluttering and tears - it would have hindered Maidana more than helped him because he would have been coughing like crazy going into the next round. But from that video it does look like Ariza is just causing a crease in the napkin and doesn't actually place anything inside, I have to watch the other video again because it did look different the first time around but it might have just been an optical illusion.
