I can't say I am a big fan of his antics as Mayweather seems to have settled down/matured a little bit and separates how he is on TV/Business/Character vs how he really is.
I will begin with a technical flaw and something on the learning experience side…
1) Head movement. Dude crosses his arms like Floyd, throws leads like Floyd, etc. Has the mannerisms. But not the smarts. You can't just stand there. I don't recall ever seeing a fighter at this level of skill (which I truly believe he DOES have) and talent, not move his head. It's like Maidana (while he isn't slow as a turtle, isn't fast) could throw a left hook from a mile down and Broner's head would stay in the same place.
2) He needs to take this as a learning experience and WANT to grow as a fighter. To prepare and not underestimate his opponent. He showed that he is tough, but toughness will only make you a highlight reel. He'll need to learn how to hold and adjust in order to take over a fight.
He needs a good nurse with a lot of patience.
I can see him doing this in a hospital gown, being too stupid to know everyone's laughing at him and not with him: http://31.media.tumblr.com/5849a29e50be0995cadb8e409fcfa7cf/tumblr_mpsg3hY9Rs1qhki4ao1_400.gif
And if you've looked at Floyd's career, he didn't start using the shoulder roll technique until he perfected it. Sr was right, you can mimick it but the second he came under pressure he abandoned it.
Lol at your sig, but fair play to you for still having the balls to keep it. It looked corny and pathetic before saturday, but now its just pure comedy!
Yup. Ppl look at floyd and his shoulder roll, and his multiple weight classes and think why not me? Pac and Floyd are once a gen fighters.
Broner even starts slowly, because thats what Floyd does. That is so dumb. You aint floyd.
hell he ain't even roger now...
dude need to hit party city and stock up on the clown costumes cause until he gets his head right, he'll be just be seen as a sideshow
He needs a lot.
His lead right is nothing like Mayweather's; Mayweather sets it, turns it over and has great leverage, Broner just falls into it.
His defence is nothing like Mayweather's; Mayweather rolls, ducks, moves and parries, Broner just stands there in the stance and gets punched in the face.
His movement is nothing like Mayweather's; Mayweather goes in and out, slides laterally and in general has great footwork, Broner stands planted with a wide stance and moves like he is wearing cement blocks as shoes.
In other words, stop trying to be Mayweather, you are terrible at it.

The problem was that he didnt switch up his gameplan. He fought the same way in his last 3-4 fights. To compare in 45 fihts Floyd has never fought the same way. Thats why hes undefeated. Hopefully he grows from this.
War Broner!!
Seriously, how gay is that burner? You racist POS.:lol1:
all ya'll missin the boat...dude needs to get his mind right...stop being a bootleg floyd flunkee and be your own f'ing man....
he get his head straight everything else will fall into place...
What Boner needs is to start emulating the professionalism and dedication to his craft as his so-called 'big bro'. I'm no fan of floyd or his shameless ducking, but his training and life ethic would be the best possible thing Boner could emulate, not all the other cardboard cut-out crap.

It's because he was supposed to be mayweather's successor. So a lot of fans have a hard time rationalizing what happened against Maidana. The truth is that he just did what he usually does against everybody else...It's just that it wasn't working this time.
Agreed. He was actually fighting someone his size this time.
All this Mayweather talk. But in reality he tries to be more like a James Toney and quite frankly, he fkin sucks at it. A damn disgrace tbh.

He could start by not moving back in straight lines. He should also abandon the "philly shell" altogether. Work on his stamina, contribute to punch output and invent his own style instead of acting like a flawed carbon copy of one of the best fighters in the world.
broner is the laughing stock of boxing nd will be for a very long time. since his jaw is broke he prob wont be fighting for a year nd a half, whichh makes it worse. csuse he wont be able to rebound. he needs to go to 140 nd fight 2 laundry mat workers, build his confidence, go to welter nd fight judah, humberto, bc any1 else cracks this kid. gna be a slow rebuilding from the bottom for adrien Ass Beat broner, maidana shoved a hot warm plate of humble pie up his ass lol

Your right, what people dont know is that the key for the shoulder roll is being good at evading punches with footwork and having great head movement(these things broner lacks). Broner also leans his head back too much and if he were to duck or slip maidana's punches instead of leaning back he could of landed some serious counters that would of stun maidana.
You do know that athletes can improve at their craft when they work on things that they don't do well right?
Ok, get in touch with his trainer and maybe get featured on instagram.
Why does it matter so much? Never seen so many people try to be a mentor to a fighter who just got simply outboxed.
