Aite, so all yall *****s be puttin up anti-Broner threads and I'm joining in on some of them but this is about how much toughness Broner showed. Dude was knocked down hard, hit by ridiculous amounts of right hands that would have put most guys to sleep and kept on fighting. Heck he cam on strong in the last round and wobbled Maidana again and again.
I genuinely liked Broner a bit after that, I just hope he now uses this to humble himself and clean up his life, both outside of boxing and inside it. If he dedicates himself, if he polishes all that's good into something better, I can see him coming back and winning a rematch. Broner is tough, decent handspeed...I actually think the *****boy defence hurts him cos his reflexes aren't quick enough and he can't throw same time counters. Also work on yo stamina Broner!
Anyway, just wanted to say that above all the negativity. He got too carried away with his own hype even though Paulie half exposed him.
This is "Book of Revelations" style prophecy right here.
Prizefighter.... is a fighter? I just can't get my head around it?
People, behold the new Jesus.
LOOOL FUK you, you know what I mean, funny though hahahhaha
So Broner showed he could get up from knockdowns. So what? He lost and
convincingly.Kind of pathetic that AB lovers want to pump up his loss.Maidana
giving him back the gyrations was and is priceless.
What's that saying.."Don't punch above your weight."
I ain't no broner lover, just see previous posts across the board for that but not many can get up form multiple heavy knockdowns by a guy who hits as hard as Maidana, not to mention he took the 12th round to Maidana. He actively looked for a KO whereas I've seen plenty of fighters who know they're behind on the cards just glide and are happy making it to the last bell.
Trout v Canelo is a perfect example of that.

OP you couldn't be more wrong.
He complained to the ref whenever he was in trouble, feigned an injury seeking to get Maidana DQed, used his forearms and elbows more than Floyd to try and keep Maidana away.
The only reason why he stayed in there and kept throwing was because he had to. He built up a 'can't touch me' gangster image and it was all falling apart. He had no choice but to try and salvage it.
Don't confuse desperation with being a warrior.
Broner took the fight very seriously. No excuses.
He's got a chin, that's been his best defense as traditional defense doesn't work for him.
yeah
his best defense against legit 135lb fighters
his chin AINT SO GUD AT ONE FOUR SEVEN
lolz
mayweather has a chin, broner, not so much

He ate some big shots and fair play to him for that but he negated all that when he acted like a ***** with his reaction after Maidana nutted him and caught him with a punch and with how quick he got his ass out of the ring as soon as the decision got announced.
Like I said, I said this pre-DeMarco and was very vocal about it post Paulie, Broner aint got the reflexes to pull off a shoulder roll defence, but he is so obsessed with being ***** boy he thinks thats the only way to fight. I'd rather he became an aggressive fighter with traditional defence and worked on his counters, than a PBF clone.
Not an easy thing to drop your style and personal identity, nevermind the fact Broner doesn't have the stamina nor mentality nor punch delivery of a true brawler. When he gets punched at, he doesn't throw back. It's not as easy as people think, to be a brawler at the top level.
Fighters don't try to fake an incident to get the other fighter disqualified.
Yea, really bad faking like a punk. Then running from the ring with his head down as the crowd throws trash at him lol. What a fighter!
