What's next for Broner? Who should he fight next?

Needs to go down in weight. I caught myself looking at the tale of the tape before the fight and Maidana was heavier at fight time, had same reach, close in height. Without his physical advantages Broner is in trouble. He had no power and was hurt a ton. Amir Khan, who gets a lot of grief, stood up and hurt Maidana more than Broner. Thurman is the big winner tonight. Broner has been replaced as the next face of Showtime by Thurman, who came off as a skilled, exciting, intelligent, nice guy who knocks people out. it was 5 pounds. Not 20.

They could give him a fight against the new IBF champ, Shawn Porter. Good test for both fighters, as I wasn't impressed by Porter's win last week. The dude still looks sloppy, but good enough to see if Broner belongs at 147. Before the fight I was thinking, "Damn, Keith Thurman should get a shot at Broner." Now, I think Thurman would beat Broner. Thurman looked damn good tonight. Thurman knocks blood and snot from broners nose no doubt! he comes to fight and knows how to adjust unlike broner mr. "you cant teach what I have" lol

He needs to move down to 140. He has zero power at 147. should of went to 140 all along! I thought maybe he would fare ok at 147 vs certain guys but he couldn't even drop paulie with flush shots. maidana came out and fought like a beast, he would def beat devon a second time around, chino is gonna do all he can to hang on to that belt I feel sorry for whoever he fights next!

Should attempt to rematch Maidana. But Maidana should hold off on that and try to get a bigger fight, while having the Broner rematch in his back pocket if he loses in a bigger fight.

Not Matthysse, maybe John Molina at 140 or Ajose? Lundy? An easy touch probably.

Broner should fight Amir Khan next, might help build back up his confidence.

I might be wrong but I swear his corner was talking about lightweight belts while the scores were being calculated. He probably cant make 135 anymore but he's definitely going down to 140. Get the IBF title after Peterson wins and he'd be a 4 division champ. I really can't see him beating any top guys at 147, like you said he has zero power.

He needs to be more serious about boxing. Also drop down to 140, and get a light touch there.

Broner should give Paulie a rematch...probably in Brooklyn. Should do good numbers for Showtime.
