Garcia was in the crowd tonight, if Broner won't rematch Paulie, this is a possible alternative bout. Angel Garcia v Team Malignaggi in the build-up would sell itself.
Who do you see winning the fight?
Bear in mind Paulie's footwork is on another level to Garcia's.

I like both fighters. But I think after some hard early rounds, Garcia will figure Paulie out and walk through his punches, while landing his own much harder shots. This will cause Paulie to fight defensively. Garcia by clear decision.

I like both fighters. But
no one except cotto who rearranged maligini's face
u obv never seen the fight bc it was actually close
malinaggi gets murdered by garcia. the dude has one weak ass chin
just shut up troll
i agree garcia wins
but ...
paulie can frustrate him with speed movement and cut him with the jab (garcia cuts) so it would be tough
paulie also has a world class chin so thats a plus when fighting a puncher like danny
this site makes no sense danny goes life and death with zab gets all the credit
paulie shuts him out and ppl hate ??
Styles make fights, Garcia doesn't like movers. Khan didn't destroy Malignaggi, no one really does.
Khan put a beating on Paulie. Straight up won every round and stopped him. I do agree with you that Paulie gives Garcia a tougher fight than some are saying
not even a fair fight. Malignaggi's slowed down enough that I think Garcia could probably stop him.
He hasn't looked slow in his last two fights. In fact, he only looked iffy v Cano, he put in good performances v Lora, Senchenko, Broner and now Judah.
Paulie would be a bad match stylistically for Garcia. I'd lean towards Danny, but just slightly. I'd be interested in seeing this fight now after Paulie whooped Judah.
I didn't see Zab vs. Paulie entirely, I was flipping back between Rigo and this fight so I saw some moments of every round and I saw Paulie winning the rounds. I'll need to watch the fight again, but right now I think this would be a very interesting fight. I might lean toward Paulie in this one.
Paulie would be the best boxer Danny has ever faced, that's for sure.
Are we talking about the same Malignaggi?
lol I was thinking the same thing man, Paulie isn't the best fighter in the world, but he has a solid chin.
Haters gonna hate I guess.

Paulie probably doesn't beat Garcia, but he doesn't have a weak chin.
He took Hatton's, Broners, Cotto's, and Khan's best shots and kept coming. He was stopped on prolonged punishment not from a single shot. IMO he has a very good chin.
It's a good fight I could see it going either way. Garcia has a chance to knock Paulie out if he lands with hooks when Paulie is coming in because Paulie does leave himself open, but he is quick enough to get away with it most of the time. If Garcia doesn't KO him Paulie wins on points - can't see Garcia winning on points unless he hurts Malignaggi before round 7 and makes him too cautious to throw, reducing his punch volume and putting him on the defensive.
