Best Fight This Weekend ?

The two fights I'm most interested in are Trout/Lara and Dirrell/Bika. Lara-Trout is not going to be a fan friendly fight at all. I see a very dull fight with very few exchanges. A lot of fans like to watch slow-paced tactical fights, this expression "fan-friendly" implies that there's only one type of fan out there.

I hate when HBO and Showtime go head to head. I like to watch all fights live not on tivo[/Q I love it!! I got a spare 26' I put right under my 50 for times like these and when it gets really hectic with nba and football I bring in the 42 from the other room and put them all together lol!! but if you have a laptop stream one and watch the other on tv, I love all sports so I watch at all costs

None of the fights really interest me.

huggy alexander will come out if porter is any danger lol, Im counting on it. I haven't read that they are flying in Pabon as ref, so I'm hoping Porter gets to work out of being held, or try at least

Going with Tapia v Kirkland as being the best action bout. I think the Alexander fight will also be good because Porter is more than a live dog imo- if Devon can win convincingly ( in what I think will be a rough fight), I will welcome him back as a serious player. I'm Interested in the fight because of that, been feeling for weeks Devon could bail again Fan of Agbeko, hope he has something left Lara vs Trout, might turn out to be better than expected because I don't feel Trout is much of a "runner, he's kinda in his preferred range. the best fight are going to be Kirkland/Tapia and Bika/Dirrell best fight in terms of meaningfulness is lara-trout, best action fight might be kirkland tapia which could see both guys hitting the canvas because of kirklands glass and kirklands power Kirkland- Tapia action wise for sure Kirkland is getting stopped in this fight. He'll get caught and hurt by the more active fighter. Dude has 2 ko's in his last 5 fights and had 4 fights last year alone (all wins) compared to Kirkland who had 1 fight in March of 2012, a fight he was getting his ass kicked in and had to win the fight via HIGHLY controversial DQ.

to many to decide. trout-lara is up there just because i have no god damn clue who is going to win that one and i love when tha happens. at times i want to give lara the edge because i know trout like most leftys doesnt like to fight other southpaws. meanwhile lara being cuban (lots of leftys in cuba) and having that extensive amateur pedigree probably has extensive experience boxing other leftys. as soon as i want to give that edge to lara im reminded of how hungry trout is going into this fight, i expect him to put on a career best performance. so im excited for that one, the fact that there is plenty of venom with both men questioned eachothers balls and whatnot it could have some fireworks. even if it doesnt i love watching technical chess match type of fights provided both guys are highly skilled and in this case they are. the main event is a really great fight too and i always get excited about watching alexander and anthony dirrell. im pumped for every fight, cant wait. this might be among the best all around fight cards ive experienced in my lifetime. edit: cant believe i forgot my boy rigondeaux. that fight has to be number one. Im with you on the Lara vs Trout fight I can really see both of these fighters winning this fight in a good match up of top 154lbs . The Tapia vs Kirkland could really be a war if James is healthy... Great weekend for all of us either way starting Friday .

Alexander/Porter should be good! Don't believe the Devon Alexander hype. He could get slept.

Who ya got for "the fight" of the weekend ? My pick is Trout vs Lara. Prediction...Trout by Dec. :boxing::boxing::boxing: i have to agree with you on this. On paper it doesn't look like a good fight being that both are southpaws and defensive minded. Someone has to force the fight and I hope it turns into a great fight.
