Manny fans serious question..do you hold Floyd at a higher standard then Manny?

Because ya'll criticize Floyd for fighting ranked ww's who actually have wins at ww..no matter how you try to twist is they have wins at ww..Then criticize his win over Canelo who was a unified champ at 154 no matter how you twist it...yet praise Manny for fighting Bradley-unranked at ww..Juan-unranked at ww..Rios-unranked at ww..how are these solid fights for Manny but not to long ago ya'll were screaming "FLOYD WONT FIGHT WW'S" not that he is only fighting top ww's and top 154 fighters it still is not good enough..im serious how do you justify this? Manny has not faced a top ww since 2009 and this is ok with ya'll...why? if you think the top ww's are not good enough and 140 is better then why wont he just fight at 140?

because jmm and bradley are considered way better fighters than canelo, ortiz ghost.. honestly khan is ranked #2 at welter,, so does floyd get props for that fight.. If you cant honestly tell the difference between fighting jmm multiple times, bradley and the likes of canelo and ghost, then you need to watch some more boxing or find another sport to follow Whats this obsession with Pac facing "top WWs"? Fighting Bradley and JMM 2X is way better then facing mystical top WWs Devon and Robert thread should have ended right here.

I will say yes because of what he says out of his own mouth. I hold Floyd to the standards he boasts himself up to. Canelo was a solid win for Floyd in my opinion but when I found out he approached Canelo earlier in his career for a bout put things in perspective for me. The man has his opponents mapped out which I can't respect from what I believe to be the best boxer of our generation. Holding him to the same standards I do the ATGs, he seems unworthy to be mentioned with the likes of them sometimes. It's very hard to compare him to them. He sells boxing; he doesn't live it.

Yes we do. Pacquiao doesn't have to fight Cotto at 154, and doesn't have to fight Martinez or Canelo, he's too small. Although we know that him and Mayweather are the same size on fight night. Sincerely, Pac fans. You don't fight in a division based on your weight on fight night.... geeezzz...

Juan Marquez - he has 4 times now Tim Bradley - he has once Adrien Broner Keith Thurman Victor Ortiz Robert Guerrero Not saying that ANY of these young guys beats Manny Pacquiao but they are legit WW's way better than Rios...and I already know of the TR vs GB beef. Victor Ortiz and Robert Guerrero are both on the same level as Rios. 50/50 fights IMO.

Of course Floyd is held to a higher standard. He's undefeated and is recognized as #1 P4P fighter. Problem is that Floyd isn't number #1 by beating the best in the division and cleaning house, he is #1 through shrewd business tactics. All he has to do to shut up his critics is take out his greatest threats in and around his weight class (something he refuses to do). It's like going to a steak house ordering a rib eye and getting ground chuck patty (priced as a rib eye steak). Just doesn't sit well.
