The stoppage was spot on, when you wathc the replays that goes without saying. But I think whats vital was the woeful Jim watt.
Originlly I had froch 1 round behind going into the 9th and I stand by that. How people such as Jim watt critersised the scoring when the judges imo was spot on.
Just watched it on skyports 2 in HD and what I find interesting was the body work froch was putting in. IMO that set up the ko and groves eyes were both marked up in round 7, so the "pawing" jabs that Jim watt claimed obviously made there mark.
I had Froch down 1 point at the time if the stoppage. I thought the ref could have given a groves standing 8 count but I have no qualms with the TKO.
good post mate.
I had many pac 9 rounds up against bradely.
I had froch 1 round down going into the 9th. Which agrees wih the judges score cards.
Me too, I had Pac beating Bradley 9 rounds to 3, 117-111. The Froch fight, I had Carl winning two rounds and losing all of the other ones.
I was pulling for froch before the fight. He won 2 rounds at most before the stoppage. It was one of the worst stoppages I've ever seen and I'm a Froch fan. Groves beat him up. He outboxed him. Carl knows it. He was starting to come on, and he very well may have knocked George out, but that stoppage did no favors for either man.
I suppose you thought Tim Bradley deserved his decision win against Manny Pacquiao too lol
Carl Froch was clearly losing the fight. Only homers think it was close.

groves satanic panda eyes and getting koed doesn't seem to match your post mate, but that's for your contribution.

lol Froch was getting schooled, yo. The ref spared his blushes.

B.o.l.l.o.x were you watching it with 5 pairs of sunglasses on whilst o'd ing on crack cocaine?
I know your a loyal fan and you cannot knock that but c'mon man!
I watched on a widescreen on HD. Rounds2,3,5,6 and 8 were arguably frochs/swing rounds, 7 is also a swing round.
Round 9 was all froch.
Anyway great win for froch against a young speedster.
Well done froch :boxing:
