It's gonna be on the history channel.... okay Dana
GSP DIAZ never did 1 million buys. Stop posting lies. I hate Dana White. I love mma. UFC is not the sport of MMA. Get your f-cking facts straight.
Here is your beloved UFC and Dana White. Yet again I'm posting facts while you lie about GSP/DIAZ doing 1 million ppv buys.
UFC 158 GSP vs Diaz 950,000.lol my bad still pretty good

I tell you again because your hater procesor does not read this kind of data:
-you point out only the bad thinks about the UFC
-YOU POST HATING COMENTS ABOUT THE UFC IN A thread THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BOXING VS UFC DRAMA but with a guy making a boxing documentary.
That what makes you a hater.I personaly hope both boxing and mma does great wich theY did this year.No major injuries, great fights etc.
You compared the ppv sales of a UFC event where the marketing is brand based, with a boxing event where the marketing is name based. I respect all combat sports, I'm just pointing out the flaws in your reasoning.
And I didn't even start the comparison.
There was no sign of hate in my post, just facts. How many other big name mixed martial artists were fighting on the GSP/Diaz card? You have to remember that big boxing fights are marketed around the two main event fighters with a weak undercard most of the time, while UFC cards feature a lot of the top names fighting on the same night. Floyd sold most of these ppvs by himself, he didn't have the benefit of a brand.
UFC's first event on Fox did 2 million less viewers than Kimbo Slice on CBS promoted by the now defunct EliteXC.

You haters post the facts that suports your agenda. When UFC has some low ratings there you are but when GSP-Diaz does 1 mil buys and Floyd-Guerrero does 850 or UFC signs with Fox theres no sign of you guys. You cospiracy theorist always show the bad side of the UFC that what makes you a hater.Somethimes I wonder if you hate the UFC more than you love boxing.

Don't the Fertittas brothers deserve most of the credit for the marketing work?
Boxing is a sport, UFC is a company you moron. Of course it's easier for White to make fights happen since he got a quasi-monopoly on MMA. And he still couldn't make Fedor/Lesnar happen.
UFC hater holding to that one that didn't happen....lol if you hate mma why don't you get over it!We mma fans did:afro:

Yeah, were pathetic for posting facts and numbers? We actually realize the UFC is a private company not the sport of MMA.

You guys who hate the UFC are patetic:wtf1:
The thread is not about the UFC IS ABOUT DANA WHITE MAKING A TV SHOW!:wtf1:

I bet Hardbody Harrison would have a shot at KO'ing these bum azz doofuses.
Lol.. he'd be ranked over all of those bums. Also, sorry to the Bostonians(not sorry to Dana, f u), but the Irish-American culture is pretty boring also.
Yeah just like how Dana made all those super fights. Silva vs GSP. Silva vs Jones and Fedor vs Brock.
Oh wait he never did any of that dispite having all the top talent signed.
MMA has been on a steady decline since 2010.

this is good.
Dana White in boxing would be huge. People can say all the crap they want but this guy gets sh1t done, and he has a bevy of boxers who got his back like Mike Tyson, Zab Judah, Kevin Kelly, Wayne McCullogh who works for UFC, you name it.
Dana in boxing though would mean the death of MMA. Dana is no joke man this guy works hard as hell and he knows how to promote fights on mainstream, imagine if he was the producer of The Contender? the drama would boost ratings.

You guys are complete idiots,,,,, Dana has delivered great fights in each division,,
look at boxing,, is ggg-serg getting made, is burns-crawford, mares-donaire manny-floyd, bradley-floyd, LOL boxing cant even deliver fights in its own division let alone make superfights between different division champs,,

Those fighters in the trailer look like nothing more than toughman competition, and that's putting it lightly. I can't see myself watching this. Dana White fails again.
I bet Hardbody Harrison would have a shot at KO'ing these bum azz doofuses.
Well, this explains why he went off on GSP I didn't realize buys were that low and I'm sure he was pissed that his biggest PPV star told the media he might retire. That is the problem with this guy though, UFC 100 did the 1.6 million buy mark, but I think Brock Lesnar only made like 1.5 million WTF... that's a dollar per buy. Arum isn't that greedy and he actually knows how to build talent, Lesnar was popular because of WWE not because White made him a star. Boxing is just too engrained in the hispanic and black culture and from my experience most MMA fans are white, and the truth is there any good American white fighters right now. But the fact is that isn't really America anymore... It's white, black, hispanic, asian and euro. All but the white Americans have pretty huge stars right now and it's hard to break into that. Add in the fact that most people watched MMA for the strikes/kicks and KO's, casual fans anyway, and there is just too much ground game. It's not always fun to watch boxing don't get me wrong, but at least they are always on their feet.
Can't blame him if he does.
Last PPV I saw was Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort. It was heavily hyped and when the fight was on a simple kick sent Belfort on a deep sleep. Just like that. And the undercards were not so great either.
I felt like there's more chances of getting hit big, even accidentally, because, let's face it, the nature of the sport is prone to accidental shots, which, to me, no longer involves skills but luck.
I just watched reruns since.
Dana White isn't coming to boxing just producing a reality tv show for Discovery.

Well it only talks about the show in the OP, but the title says he's returning to boxing.... so I guess people didn't read/watch the OP

silva-gsp, or jones-silva are 2 different weightclass champs going at it,, would be the same as floyd vs serg, or rigo-garcia,,
At least dana makes the fights in each division,,, Just look at GSP, cash-cow comes back from a year off and defends vs the top 3 guys condit, diaz, hendricks, now look at who serg will fight after a layoff, wont be GGG or quillen
or floyd off a long break, he aint coming back vs manny
Brock lesnar was a huge cash cow, and they didnt protect him coming off a year long hiatus, he was put in with carwin, cain, overreem...
LOL you guys are idiots to talk **** about dana when boxing cant even make top fights in its own division let alone super fights between division champs
They're just mad because he couldn't make Silva/Jones I think.
He does make good competitive fights and unlike boxing, they don't get a lot of build up fights before a big one, usually thrown into big ones every single time
