You can't be stripped of something earned by lineage, (meaning you can follow the man who beat the man in a direct line). The meaning of the linage can lose meaning if a dude holds the belt hostage for a long period and eventually if long enough no one will consider the holder of the champion anymore but still they would be the champion by lineage.
