I suppose it is typical of the Floyd camp to take their time with selection of an opponent. Does anyone else on this forum believe that he may be looking at the Pac/Rios fight and how it plays out??
I think he wants to make some $$$$ and no one will enable him to rake it in like Pacquiao.
Your right!!! My bad Floyd has not fought Maidana. I'm confusing him with the other Argentine that he fought several years ago. The one that beat Judah.
But with that being said,..I still don't see Maidana being much of a challenge. He just doesn't have either the skills or the speed(hand or foot) to keep up competitively with Floyd. Broner would be more interesting.
Interesting??
Broner/Maidana.
He already fought Maidana and it was easy work-----why again?
Broner is his friend,....and does not present any challenge that I see.
If Pacquiao looks good,..Do you really think Maidana or Broner represents more money or more of a challenge?
floyd hasn't fought maidana.
My guess is GBP needs a quality opponent for floyd in May. Khan isn't quality. Maidana, having beaten Broner, at least meets the minimal standard of "quality."
Manny makes more money, but I don't know, given he is on fight #3 of the sho deal, if he is considering manny after rios/manny given the politics.
I could be wrong.
