I barely posted at all regarding the fight but yes I called it wrong. I thought Lucas would walk straight through him.
Why is this tosh always brought up though when it bares absolutely no relevance to anything in the thread?

Lulz guy made a wrong prediction 3 years ago, DKSAB!
When you try break every fight down week in, week out the chances are you are going to get a lot wrong. In fact lately I haven't been able to call much right at all.
sounds good but i didn't see you care about all these fights that you called week in and week out as you say i only remember you making alot of noise about the rigo-donaire fight and the Garcia-Matthysse fight.
stop hating so much thats what my comment has to do with this thread, you sometimes seem like you get blinded by hate and its kinda sad because you don't seem like an idiot like alot of posters on here but you seem to get a lil to caught up with all the bull**** on this site.
don't let them get to you dan you seem like a good guy
That website is Polish, I just emailed them asking if Golovkins record is correct and if they can provide me with some credible source that will confirm it.
If they will, green K for you.
The author of that website mailed me back, dan was right, GGG had 8 losses as an amateur.

But GGG is still a beast dan and he's much better than you think he is.
Green K sent as promised.
Or maybe I googled ''Gennady Golovkins amateur record'' but yh I imagine I am not the first to post it on here and doubt I will be the last.
You're getting no e-cred from me, homie.
kinda the way you were with matthysse?
how was that matthysse-Garcia fight? i have not been around for a while

dan cov didn't "discover" this information. Someone else posted it and he just took it and ran with it like only his desperate self could.

The constant diggs at Rigo, pure butthurt and hilarity.
Rigo schooled your boy and would probably son Pac too.
Enjoy :bottle:
Wrong guy, I don't even like Donaire.
Is this a real post ?
Who cares what he did as an amatuer ? Silver Medal though, right ?
Pro boxing is a whole different sport. Ask Mike Tyson or Joe Mesi who were beat in US box-offs..Both had outstanding pro careers. The amatuer style is awful and so has been the scoring since they initiated head gear.
So glad that real scoring will be in the next Olympics so when I see a US HW knock a dude down twice in a fight,he gets a 10-7 round instead of just 2 points and goes home.:boxing::boxing::boxing:
Props to the US fighter who achieves that, but the guy will be working against the odds - I'm assuming you're a US citizen - your government has destroyed the US amateur program which gave the world some of the finest fighters in the history of boxing.
Yet the 500 ALTs all with 600+ posts in 2 weeks non stop slurping the guys balls & going on like boxing evolves around him aren't?
Its a boxing forum. I posted something of relevance.
I also enjoy talking about boxing not just one fighter.
Could you imagine being on a football forum and nearly every post was ''Beckhams de best yo!'' Its crazy & I feel for the real boxing fans who support him I really do.

Dammit - at last!
Had this conversation months ago with a guy who brought up this Polish site that kept decent am records. I've been trying to track that site down since an' now I've got it nailed!
Oh yeah, GGG - beats anyone at 160, the fight that needs making is Froch at 168. That's a worthy test.
Does not surprise me one bit about AM records. Why they never matter much to me.

Wrong guy, that's Lomachenko that supposedly lost only once. Not real plausible. But I can see why it bothers you, since Rigo has a minimum of 12 losses

I didn't pick Lucas over Garcia nor did I feel strongly either way
Their resumes are close, though GGG's is a little better, having beaten 3 Ring top tenners vs 1 for Quillin. Really the only proven contender either guy beat was Macklin. Then you gotta look at the manner of win, with Quillin struggling in 2 of his last 3 fights and GGG destroying everyone, including Rosado who gave PQ plenty of trouble. Then the last piece of the puzzle is only one of these guys is willing to fight th other, so it's not a tie at all.
WIllingness to make fight is not a quantifiable variable. even if it were it it in no way factors into who is the more legit challenger to Sergio. Manner of win means nothing either. QUillin beating Njam i every bit as impressive as the Macklin win.
Winning tough fights is a good thing, not a bad one.
GGG and Quillin have equal accomplishments and are both undefeated. one is no more worthy than the other as a challenegr to the lineal MW title.
GGG has no more claim to being sergio's #1 challenger than quillin does. You are entitlted to your opinion.
we know why a fight between the 2 is problematic.
Most posters, including you, thought Matts would easily beat Danny. I "dissented" then. Turns out I was right.
I'd pick GGG to beat quillin as would you. until that fight occurs I maintain they are equally accomplished and GGG has no more claim to the #2 MW than he does.

I guess it's not quite universal, you got dissenters like you, JLoro and maybe the Quillin family. The easiest way to resolve that would be for Quillin to stop offering excuses and fight the guy finally. They could do it in Monaco, as PQ was willing to travel to the UK for Murray. But that fight lost a lot of appeal since Quillin struggled so much with Rosado, nobody really thinks he has a chance including him for sure.
