Does Floyd get a pass for fighting Khan?

Pacquiao, Garcia, GGG (has stated he will go down to 154) Pac is with TR (not happening), Garcia has gone on record saying he won't be pursuing a fight with Mayweather and GG is pretty much locked in with HBO - plus he has yet to fight a serious opponent. Nonetheless, Mayweather wins each of those fights just like the 45 others he beat.

Khan is a decent fighter. So he lost to Prescott by KO five years ago and people are giving him crap? He then lost a split decision to Lamont Peterson and was deducted two points in the fight that otherwise he would have won. His last loss was against Danny Garcia who is the current champ. Khan will be 27 next month and he still has it in him to give Mayweather a decent fight. A lot of good fighters lose in their career and still become champs. Wlad was said to have a bad chin but has since survived and learned from his mistakes. Khan is a worthy opponent for Mayweather.

Ali fought a nobody in Wepner, right after he beat George Foreman. So yes, he should get a pass. Khan may not be "worthy" of a shot, but neither was Wepner. At least Chuck Wepner could take a punch.

Yes, who else would he fight? Khan's a named fighter good skills and speed that will trouble Floyd for a few rounds till his experience takes over the fight. I think Khan will look good till Floyd catches him and knocks him out.

Mayweather would not get a pass as far as I'm concerned. It would definitely be another carefully chosen sure win!

Khan's career at welterweight: 0-0-0 to be fair you can say that about alot of fighter who move up to fight the top dog at a higher weight imo dont think khan vs floyd is a ppv fight maybe if its on cbs not on ppv or showtime

He gets no pass from me unless Khan beats a top 10 rated welterweight between now and the fight with Mayweather in May. Team Khan, Team Mayweather and Golden Boy all seem afraid to let Khan have a fight before the Mayweather fight for fear he will lose and hurt the Mayweather-Khan fight.The fight is a joke and a waste of one of Floyd's final 4 fights. Except for the catchweight part I was pleased with Floyd's choice of fighting potentially dangerous Canelo and Floyd looked great.Fighting a totally unworthy Khan just because he is so low risk high reward is a big step backward for Floyd. The Khan fight will be Floyd's worst ever cherry pick.

Imho Mayweather shouldnt get a pass at all. He makes every fight look too easy....so theres no reason for an easy fight

1st post in a long, long, long time Just had to comment on even the thought of a Mayweather vs Khan fight ...... {Total nonsense!!!!} I agree wholeheartedly that Khan doesn't deserve such an up-scale fight with the P4P best. Why .....? Khan hasn't fought and or beat anyone of note that would make him marketable or credible to the general populace and with the exception of him being a British native and Wembley Stadium's over there ... Khan has nothing to really bring to the table. Sure he has fast hands and rapid running feet .... but outside of that, what's the marketing credential? Khan's been struggling and scraping up wins against questionable opponents, and each time he's faced someone with just a smidget of credibility, Khan's been in a fight for his life. Khan is running away from all the names that would at the very least give him some credibility leading up to a potential fight with Floyd ... Khan avoided and ducked Alexander, who ducks Alexander??? Khan avoided and ducked Kell Brook, who ducks Brook??? Apparently, Khans planning to duck all WW's and play it safe all the way until he can get a fight with Floyd ...... Total BS! Sorry guys ... but Khan is a lump of scary ***** that manages to talk more smack than he's delivers.

In the eyes of Floyd's critics he never gets a pass... EVER. I honestly would like to see the style match up. Khan's speed and movement against Floyd's timing and reflexes. I think it would be interesting to watch. However, I don't believe a win over Khan would do much for Floyd's legacy. Khan has great speed, decent power, and a ton of potential but he doesn't have the chin to compete at the elite level. Interesting match up but it's a sure win for Floyd. The irony is, just two years ago some people considered Khan to be a major risk to Floyd and look how things have changed. wazaa considered Kahn a threat, not some people. just one idiot. Lol at this nuthugger...GGG is not considered p4p yet, Floyd is #1, GGG is fighting on cable network not PPV. Failed comparison Both Khan and Stevens been Knocked out, Both Mayweather and GGG are in short supply of good competition, both Mayweather and GGG are Undefeated, both Kahn and Stevens been dropped from HBO before. Does GGG get a pass for fighting Stevens?
