Kovalev isn't that ripped and looked weak in the cleverly weigh in.
Guy can seriously hit hard.
Goes to show you can't always judge someone's 'hardness' on muscle/frame.
Nicky Piper (now a top class pundit) was another one.
Member of MENSA and has an IQ of 153 (wears glasses as well) and looked a super-skinny version of the Milky Bar Kid when he was fighting but gave a prime Benn a decent argument and went in with Michalczewski as well.
21 wins via stoppage from 26 wins (Nicky could crack) but looked like a bloke who needed to be put on a diet of steak breakfasts and who did his training in the local reference section of the university library. Interesting fighter!

Erik Morales, he looked like a cancer victim in some fights but he could hit hard and take it. Even when he looked fat against Cano he beat him down.
yeah especially at 122-126, he was super skinny but had an iron chin and had good power at those weights.
anybody wjkwho knows boxing will tell you that guys with long limbs can generally punch, but to the layman, tommy hearns and arguello would appear "skinny."
they are two of the hardest punchers ever.
Chico Corrales too
