Chavez would get knocked out inside five rounds. There's a reason he wants to stay at 160. Once Chavez moves up in weight he'll lose his physical advantage over his opponents. At 168 and 175 he'll fight guys that are bigger and stronger than him. How exactly is Chavez going to beat Stevenson? Chavez won't be able to bully and walk him down....Easy fight for Stevenson who would absolutely destroy Chavez. Man I just love your photo.

It should be a good fight but Stevenson might be too much for Chavez Jr. However, he needs to rematch Vera first.

and Cloud is still a better fighter than Jr has ever beaten Not so sure about that one. Jr has beaten some good world-class fighters who are prodders like :Rubio,Duddy,Lee,and Manfredo.He also beat Zbik who is a well-rounded fighter. Cloud has never beaten anyone good. He fought jouneyman and stiffs until Glen Johnson and I had him losing to Campillo.He was schooled by Old Man BHOP and out-classed by Stephenson. Stephenson has been KTFO'd before too and was rocked twice in the George fight,which I saw and was pretty good scrap. :boxing::boxing::boxing:

I agree with the majority, Stevenson batters and bloodies Jr like his dad did to Rosario. Roach, Sr, or whoever throws in the towel in the tenth with Jr taking a sever beating but still on his feet

This isn't a fantasy fight it is plausible, 1. Chavez has to move up 168 minimum. 2. Chavez is going to get a title shot for doing nothing, or very little. 3. Stevenson would get a good payday. 4. Ward,Froch and GGG have fights coming up and Stevenson may not wait for them. I don't think Chavez will win but I do think he would be one of those people that get the fight on name alone. Why do people keep imagining these awful fantasy fights? Khan vs. Mayweather, Stevenson Vs. Chavez Jr.... Absolutely terrible. It makes you wonder if the so called fans who come up with this ****e are paid off pawns. We've had enough uncompetitive easy purse fights involving Mayweather, Bradley, Klitschko and apparently Chavez Jr. (since he didn't really beat Vera). Stop creating the environment for more bogus bouts...

Stevenson and brutally A Roach-trained Jr KTFO's Stevenson in round 5. Stevenson takes chances and can punch in the top 5-6 with power but that chin is there to be cracked and Jr can take one hell of a punch and deliver as well. Styles make fights. Stevenson should avoid the Evander Holyfield types of guys who can flat out take a punch and still have an offense. Stevenson is a nightmare for all other styles. :boxing::boxing::boxing:

I think Chavez, Jr. would get diced in less than 3. His career is at a crossroads, I feel if he stays with Freddie, his dad will still have a say in the manner. If Chavez, Jr. really jumps to Robert Garcia, it could be a nice pairing, Chavez, Jr. needs to focus on his boxing right now, nothing else.
