not an elite fighter, doubt it happens because hes got a few fights left. but hystory has proven that when most greats lose it almost always is to someone people werent expecting.morales lost to zahir, barrera to jr jones, roy jones to tarver, etc etc .
I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Lara or Fettuccine Alfredo. Can't say I like their chances though. I don't know anything about Molina.
I still say Pac v. Floyd is 50/50.
Molina is one of the most underrated fighters along with Roman Gonzalez and Estrada. I don't think he beats Mayweather but he does have a better chance than Khan.
Pacquiao obviously has the best chance but Mayweather is a coward and he'll never fight him
Only time and old age can beat Floyd, im thinking if Mayweather-Danny Garcia can happen in late 2014, and Garcia edge out Floyd in a similar Spinks-Holmes fashion, or if Sergio Martinez became young again and beat Cotto impressively if their fight pushes through.
I was watching a Mayweather documentary on how he was good friends with former champ Frankie Randall, who was not expected to beat JC Chavez, among the present welterweight champions, Devon Alexander is the one I think who may unexpectedly shock everyone giving Mayweather a tougher fight than the rest.
yeah i think he retires undefeated, but i dont think anyone in his w8 class or near it beats him. pac had a good chance because of style , but still favor may.
Right now I think Pacquiao, Bradley and Khan all have at least some of what it would take to beat Mayweather. Manny has hand-speed, power, movement and activity. Tim has determination, footwork, activity and versatility. Amir has fantastic hand-speed (maybe better than Floyd's) and good outside technique when he remains disciplined.
Mayweather would be favored in all of those matches, of course. Whoever beats him, it'll be a surprise when it happens. But even a year ago we saw Miguel Cotto put on a good fight against Mayweather when everyone thought he would be wiped out. So you never know.
I think beating Canelo did a whole lot to convince people that Mayweather is absolutely unbeatable right now.
No way to know, but it'll probably be an elite fighter just because Floyd won't likely be fighting anybody else until he loses or retires. There's still the real possibility that he will retire undefeated.
