Carlos Ortiz, Wilfredo Benetiz and Wilfredo Gomez round out the top 3.
I have a soft spot for Camacho. Of course I heart Cotto and Calderon and rate them high. Calderon belongs in the conversation as one of the greatest little men ever, right w/ Ricardo Lopez. That's such a dream matchup.
I recognize Tito's gifts in the ring and his war with Vargas - but to me he's a quitter.
He quit on the game after getting destroyed and humiliated against Hopkins. Instead of pulling up the strings on the bootstraps and get better, he just retired. Comes back to fight Mayorga and then go on to get beat up by Winky. Instead of learning from those mistakes and try to improve or at least fight on to get back on top. He cowered and hid from the game, only to come back as a grossly overweight guy fighting another shot guy, only to get thoroughly humiliated again, finally going away.
I don't mind when my favorite fighters lose. But I love to see a comeback story - and my favs to try to fight on, despite setbacks. Tito threw away his prime after Hopkins - because whatever. He showed no heart after losing to Hopkins. So because of that, I just can't put him high.
But he was an amazing fighter when he had heart
Don't flame me guys. Just my opinion
