Just read a comment from Wlad stating that Povetkin is the best opponent he's ever faced.
Lol.
How can anyone rank this guy even in the top 100 ATG with this kind of opposition haha
In no way do I mean to hate on him, it's not his fault there isn't anyone good to fight, he's 15 years too late to the heavyweight party.
But when Povetkin is you best ever foe, then you need to accept that you ain't done ****.
Sanders>Wlad. And that's not a troll, that's just fact sorry.
Tyson would put Klit in a body bag within 2 rounds.
yes. The boxer who crumbles when someone puts a jab in his face would get past one of the best jabs in boxing within two rounds.
Povetkin is an undefeated as a pro Olympic gold medallist.
And at least Wlad has the decency to fight him in his prime. Tyson could only knock out old men. Tyson is easily the most over rated boxer in history.

Mike Tyson's best win was an undefeated as a pro, olympic gold medalist Michael Spinks.

Povetkin IS the best AND the most qualified challenger Wlad has ever had.
He's up there, but I wouldn't go that far.
Whatever Povetkin is and brings however, it doesn't compare to Wlad. Different class altogether. Wlad is a proper champion and worthy of any era.
Povetkin is another overhyped, undertrained, protected guy suddenly thrown in the deep end. Decent talent, but like so, so, so many today is uncaring, lazy and undetermined. Lacks a champions heart and desire. I fully expect him to basically retire after this fight/beatdown, or just fight some stiffs here and there and go on with his unremarkable, lazy should/could-have-been career.
He's not a professional athlete in the true sense of the word, and he's certainly not a heavyweight champion in the true sense.
Wlad will destroy him. I find it funny though that some think this guy can come in for his last ten fights over many years now in terrible shape, then expect him to suddenly show up and be the best ever and reach his full potential against Wlad. Doesn't work that way. Because of those lost years, he's made sure that his skills have consistently eroded. One good training camp in years just isn't going to cut it against a fighter of Wlads caliber.
The type of shape and sharpness he needed to have, has to be developed across years of coming in in top shape and fighting hard. No one ever reaches their full potential after giving most of it away with poor training over years, only to regain it all in one two month camp.
He's an idiot.

Errrr, who also happened to have beaten HOFer Larry Holmes twice, was the Undisputed lineal LHW champ and lineal heavyweight champion of the world, and had beaten great champions like Dwight Qawi, Eddie M. Muhammad, marvin Johnson, Yaqui Lopez, Eddie Davis, Gerry Cooney and the aforementioned Holmes.
He was proven ten times over, was the best heavyweight in the world, the top champion, and was a great fighter.
Povetkin hasn't, and won't ever, do one tenth of what Spinks did.
Wlad has a right approach. He learned how the toughest opponent is the next one. That's why he hasn't lost a few rounds in almost a decade.
Povetkin is not the best fighter Wlad beat (wait to see tonight :)), but he is most definitely an excellent win on any resume.
p.s. Povetkin is sooo ridiculously underrated on this website. If he was american he would be the best american HW in the last 7-8 years.
:lol1:
Bigging up a mediocre fighter to make your boyfriend look great.

Wlad always say that his next opponent is really tough, even when it's a shot bum.
The odds makers seems to like Povetkin though, the odds on Wlad is almost as high as they were against Haye. And IMO, Haye had a better chance to beat Wlad if he would've just taken some risk.
Easy money on Wlad tonight.

Agreed, Tyson was one of the biggest hype jobs of all time.
OK. Why doncha do a poll?
A poll won't change my opinion.

Wlad is just trying to motivate himself and to sell-out this mismatch. Nothing unusual.
Not at all, Cory Sanders was a better boxer than Wlad Klit.
Hope that's clear enough for you.
OK. Everyone's entitled to an opinion I guess. Why doncha do a poll?
Direct quote:
"He's the best opponent I've ever had," said Klitschko. "He has a great record, he is undefeated and I expect him to give everything he has."

I read his full quote, I think it tends towards Povetkin on paper being the best Wladimir has ever faced.

To say Sanders beat Wlad is not trolling.
The use of the '>' - is greater than symbol, kinda suggests you may be, however. As do the 'haha's. And the title in which you describe him giving respect to his opponent as an 'hilarious admission'.
