Expect controversy.
For you non-Klit fans, this may be a fight worth tuning in to. Povetkin and his shady backers will try anything to rob Wladimir. -Yoz
Im thinking this fight will be rather one sided with Sasha trying to get in and being unable. Wlad will start controlling and dominating distance after about3 or 4 rounds and by the 8th or 9th with have him tko'd or being retired between rounds. I just don't think Povetkin is good enough to make it a close enough fight to be controversy. Thoughts?
I believe chisora will be all around the ring showing his face to Vlad hoping to demoralize him. But 8 round TKO is most possible in this fight. Povetkin is good, but no so good.
Too easy to write off Povetkin. A lot of unanswered questions about the Russian. He's actually quite untested so far.
He hasn't looked very good for a couple of years. He hasn't looked to have improved where he should have. Maybe he'll prove us wrong.
I just find it interesting, knowing Chisora, we might end up with 2 Klitschko fights on Saturday.
I hope he takes a big swig from a bottle of water and just holds it in his mouth, Wlad will sit there tensed up waiting for Chisora to spit it again.
Povetkin isn't going the distance to receive a gift decision.
Wladimir can really send out a statement here and I fully expect him to.
I don't think it'll be a prolonged beating, a game Povetkin will get blasted inside of 6 or 7.
I don't think he has the footspeed or the craft to go the distance. His stamina is not great anyway & hes going to be exerting a lot more energy than he is used to trying to bob & weave his way inside.
The odds don't bother me, Wladimir by stoppage 8/13 - I'll have some of that!
hm..Ryabisnky wants boxing grow big in RUssia. with all the $ hes got, I won't be surprised if he payed Chisora to do something stupid in order to mess with Wlad before the fight, and at the same time to heat up the audience and fans around the world.
now I think that could be possible, this time though I hope Vitaly jumps in and protect his little brother, while they brawl - Vit accidently hits the man that appears to be closest to this brawl - mr.Putin. there we might have Vitaly's last pay day fight, ppv on Hbo Putin vs Vitaly, why not?
just bored=) good morning ya'll
Рябинский Андрей@Ryabinskiy18h
@YSmirenin @GPStangrit Никакого Чисоры в раздевалке Владимира не будет. Я порядочный человек. Мне нужен честный поединок, а не дешевые трюки
So no Chisora according to Ryabinskiy. Everything iv read from Ryabinskiy the past couple months leading up to this fight makes him seem like a reasonable guy but we'll have to wait until after the fight to see if thats true.

I've been enjoying your contributions both here and the history section. Don't ever post this again and lets be friends. ;)
Thanks man. btw i think i still have infractions from you from way back haha.
if henry akwindada was dq'd for holding i don't see why wlad shouldn't be. if they get the right ref in there he will be dq'd and no could complain because it would be legit. then again povetkin is a bum with no defense so wlad should be able to ko him in a couple rounds before the ref dq's him. interesting dynamic we have going on.
This happens in many sports. Lets not forget the fight was in America and Wlad had shown major vulnerability only a few fights before. No offense, Im just not a big conspiracy theorist. If its a blatant robbery I'll say it. But Im not buying any crazy stories such as were thrown around after Brewster just because the odds drop.
Odds can drop if bettors see a chance to make money. A few in the press (like Doug Fischer) went all in picking Lamon too and that sort of late burn can spread. It wasn't remotely unusual.

Or poisoning.:slap:
If Povetkin can go the distance and somehow make it close on home soil, like in any fight, he can get the decision and there would be nothing wrong with that.
Nothing wrong? Whoever wins the most rounds should be the winner, not semantic stuff like what you described.
no, I meant Wlad was a heavy favorite before Brewster fight, all of a sudden odds dropped against him in the morning before the fight and he lost.
It was a big story back in 2004.

Wlad went all out trying to destroy Brewster before he caved. Are you suggesting Brewster knew e could sustain the punishment?

It seems the Klitlickers have got their excuses already in case their boyfriend gets beat. To liken this situation to the Brewster affair is laughable.

Klit needs to go all out for the knockout. Any of that jab jab jab jab grab malarkey in this fight could spell disaster for him and rightly so.
