Problem is, when you're that old you never know when that age comes knocking. Both him and his brother got on well with age, so it seems like Wlad could go on for a while still. But you just never know.
Hes 38 so has a good few years left in him. Maybe until hes about 42 before anyone will beat him.
But he has to fight about 2 or 3 times a year, and then maybe.
It's definitely not unlikely that he will, now. It seemed unlikely before, but he needs another 3 years and 8 title defences or something?
Definitely feasible.
But of course, we should really be counting his defences from Chagaev or more realistically, Povetkin. But that's just details. He's held a version of the championship for a very long time.
Louis defended the undisputed championship. Wlad would need to unify and then defend it 20 times to compare.
What did I tell you all?
Exhibit A.
There's regular OTNB's
And then there's the "Nut Bag Elite" :lol1:
My god really? First all the 70s guys could wipe the floor with the Klitschkos, now lil still-figuring-out-how-this-boxing-thing-works-era Joe Louis?
Who is the next guy who could easily beat the Klitschkos? Willie Pep?
Either Klitschko would line up every single boxer from the beginning of boxing through to the 1980's and knock every single one of them out.
About the only thing I can say is that LITTLE George Foreman would have a punchers chance like Leapai did but about as much of a chance too.
And anybody who thinks otherwise is a ****ing lunatic! :lol1:
They just need to ask yourself, if Wladimir Klitschko staged a fight against Max Schmelling, or PRimo Carnera, or Joe Roman, or Karl Mildenberger, or Alfredo Evangelista, they would be screaming blue murder how Wladimir choose to defend against a bummy, loser opponent of such tiny size.
They cried blue murder when WK defended against Mormeck! Who was more athletic and skilled than any 70's or prior HW and only 1lb less than prime Foreman! :lol1:
All depends what you mean by breaking his record.
Realistically, by todays standards, Wladimir broke Louis's record back in about 2005 or so, he has now doubled it, when considering REAL HW record.
He's pretty much even in total title defences now, which for me is the measure of his historical greatness relative to Louis's, what is it a couple more fights? So YES, he will break it and he will be in every way relevant the greatest HW of all time on paper.
THEN you have the OTNB side of the coin.
These zealots will specify that Wladimir has to win the "consecutive" defences. Which is more or less outrageous because Joe Louis was allowed to feast exclusively on bums and cruisers that Wladimir wouldn't be allowed to fight and in any case, total career is more important than "streaks". This pushes him 7 fights away or something which is possible but not certain for him.
Then there are the staunchest of all OTNB that would require him to have held the lineal undisputed championship the entire time, an impossible situation because of the completely different landscape to achieve and ridiculous anyway since it is HARDER to win and hold onto 6 titles than it is to win and hold onto just 1.
So I would say YES, yes, **** off and **** right off :lol1:
Vitali Klitschko destroying Joe Louis, now that's NSB nonsense at it's best.
My god really? First ALL the 70s guys could wipe the floor with the Klitschkos, now lil still-figuring-out-how-this-boxing-thing-works-era Joe Louis?
Who is the next guy who could easily beat the Klitschkos? Willie Pep?
I can no longer take this seriously. Literally ANYONE who is old or dead instantly wipes the floor with the Klitchkos. If we dug up a random skeleton (preferably from a slick American graveyard) and threw it at Wlad it would win all of his titles.
Ya. Max Schmeling did it, but a 6' 8'' guy with infinitely more skill and conditioning than Schmeling would lose.
You said nonsense?
ahahah great post mate.
That's a wonderful assumption coming from a non American. More likely its because they're boring in crap division.
They're not boring according to their millions of fans world wide
It's unnecessary and not interesting for me to speculate in this way. The matter of fact is, that a lot of Americans simply dislike that the HW champion is a two headed white dragon from a Eastern European country many Americans will find it difficult to even find on the world map.
'Bong'.

:bukkake:
Than do you at least admit... racism also have a lot to do with the Klitschko fans insane hatred of Lewis and seemingly any British/Afro or Afro/American fighter?
You really just can't swing one way and justify it by saying 'This is what I REALLY BELIEVE.. SO It is true'
Ask yourself this.. Will you HONESTLY like Wladimir and Vitali as much if everything remained the same but their skin color/nationality?
So same style/ same skills/ same greatness/ same amazing outside the ring behavior, same personality.. but they are now two British Black Brothers from West London.... What now?
and if your answer is 'Well everyone pick favorite fighters based on race/nationality.... US Klitschko fans are just the only ones brave enough to admit it...'
Than cheering on the Klitschkos should be the least of your concerns.

Wladimir would win almost all ATG by UD! Too smart, too big, perfect jab, excellent amateur background, perfect physical conditions, +Emanuel Steward etc.
To win Wladimir you must KO otherwise you will lose.
I don't think he'll fight enough times to do it with if you count the consecutive IBF title fights to Louis's. He's had a couple years where he's only fought once. When you do these superprepared month or two training camps you can't be fighting more than three times a year anymore. The scheduling just won't work.
