I for one can't understand why so many people on here hate on Tim Bradley and Danny Garcia. They are both excellent American fighters who give the fans their money's worth. They are both undefeated fighters who are willing to fight anyone.
Danny Garcia is a friggin beast !! He beat The Machine and Lucas is plain bad-ass.He is undefeated, has a very nice resume, and seems like a good guy. This guy schooled Alexander,KTFO'd Khan and Morales, and beat Matthyse. People are hating on him for his dad ? I love watching this dude fight. He is old school Philly boxing at it's best.
Bradley is fighing a HOF ATG in JMM and has an excellent resume. He "just finds a way to win, baby." Maybe he loses to JMM,we'll see but he has balls and is a true WARRIOR. He will fight tooth and nail vs JMM,great fight coming up and I have$$$ on Bradley winning it over JMM(one of my favorite fighters of all-time.)
I don't get all the hating on here for these two WARRIORS.
:boxing::boxing::boxing:
You could argue that Matthyse had an even worse record of opposition (the dude recently fought Mike Dallas Jr lol) yet all the dumb fanboys still loved him.
Lucas had a BAD level of opposition yet everyone was obsessed with him...Like I said it all comes down to Danny's father and I guess that he acts Black aswell....It's really pathetic.
You are absolutely correct about his father Angel Garcia. He constantly makes a total and complete ass out of himself each and every time he opens his mouth with ignorant and insensitive politically correct statements about different fighters cultures and backgrounds. He even uses the N-word. It's not only embarrassing to his son but for the sport of boxing in general. It's an obvious schtick but what he doesn't realize is that his polarizing and bigoted remarks harms his son's career in terms of drawing power and marketability in the sport; Because boxing is global. You have people of many different backgrounds and walks of life following this sport. I'm very surprised how he gets away with it and that Al Haymon or Golden Boy haven't asked him to seriously to chill out.
I'm not sure on the psychology of Bradleys haters but for Garcia it's ONLY because they hate Angel Garcia....It's the most pathetic thing ever. To underrated Danny because they are butthurt over his father...How pathetic!!!
Have you asked them all :D
Angel is in no way beneficial to boxing as a spokeperson due to his comments being laced with racism, but he is also pretty comical due to not giving a crap or showing any cohesive/concise views (mostly).
Generally people dislike others they haven't met because they are reminded (in part) of a person from their childhood or an issue/comment that was never resolved.
So, does labeling posters you have never met as "the most pathetic thing ever" another hater?
Bradley and his family received numerous threats because of the decision he received in the fight with pac. So I'm sure he had a huge attitude towards pac. Not saying is right either way, but more than likely that's the reason for his comments towards pac.
Thats because the Pacquiao Filipino boxing fans have absolutely no life outside of their lover boy Pac...They almost elected him president for Christs sake lol.
Adam Carolla was 100 percent right in mocking them.
I think it's because they are both undefeated. Also, in the case with Timothy Bradley, I think that most of his haters; Which Many of whom are Manny Pacquiao fans are bitter and resentful of the fact hat he won a gift decision, that they believed he didn't deserve.
However, the very same can be said about Danny Garcia. Likewise, many boxing fans are resentful of Danny Garcia because they believe that he also won a gift decision against an aging and shopworn Erik Morales, in their first meeting in which he rarely engaged or hardly threw any punches against a naturally smaller opponent. Morales is revered and considered a legend on these boards.
Also, the backlash against Danny until very recently may have been his weak level of opposition. Outside of Amir Khan, Matthysse is his biggest win to date. However, many of his detractors claim that he achieved it by dubious means with excessive fouling like: Low blows, head butts and incessant clinching.

No it isn't, it is a fact.
How can either man be an underdog in a fight that has never happened before? Danny is the undefeated lineal champion, Lucas came into this fight with losses.
Those are facts
Statistics speak for themselves, underdogs are created by an accumulation of opinions and nothing more.
A lot of people don't like that new young swag *** **** movement. That along with his pops saying whatever he wants and offending people. He like Broner make for good fights though so IMO they're good for the sport.
Yes it suprises me how little support these guys get,Both good solid little competitors aswell.
I think it's a shame americans don't get behind there fighters more but I guess it's a big place.
No, it's a VERY appropriate response.
Pacquaio showed nothing but respect for Bradley and did not bad mouth him at all, Bradley however said many disrespectful things about Pacquaio, including that he "softened Pacquaio up for Marquez" and after the KO he said "Paybacks a *****" in an interview.
Bradley is hated for good reason, you can claim Bradley doesn't deserve the hate he gets, but Pacquaio didn't deserve the hate he got from Bradley either, but that didn't stop him from trashing him and acting like it was Pacquaios fault.

Garcia because of his dad.
Bradley because Pac was robbed.
Pretty much this as well as Garcia having a new legion of bandwagon fans.
I'm a fan of both but could understand why would people want to see them lose.
If someones favorite boxers are:
Wlad
Lucas
etc.
When is it okay to say do you like white fighters and hate black fighters?
I think that sort of thing goes a few different ways, first of all. Next , to respond to such stupidity only lends it credibility.
My personal solution is the ignore feature; when I find that somebody's redeeming features are outweighed by their bs, I use it.
Some people have enough smart things to say about boxing/boxers that I can put up with their retardation on other subjects.
Some do not.
If someones favorite boxers are:
Wlad
Lucas
Kovalev
Golovkin
Ruslan
Froch
And they hate:
Floyd
Ward
Rigo
Wilder
Devon
Tim
Danny
Zab
Peterson
Broner
Stevens
Stevenson
B-Hop
Haye
Thurman
Berto
Quillin
Russell Jr
I've even seen people hate on Warren after 6 fights

There are a some of us who support any race of fighter. My favorite fighters are Floyd, Ward, Thurman, Swift and Golovkin. I like Kovalev too. On the other hand, I hate Stevenson, Rigondeaux, Haye and Berto. And Khan don't fuq no other people but his own..

:lol1:
Most people dislike those fighters because most American fighters are boring as shit btw.
Bradley got some respect with his life and death match with Provodnikov ,his unfriendly headbutting style turned alot of people off. I think Garcia is not hated it's just he is an underdog in every fight for good reason. He's not great at anything, not the fastest, strongest, or sharpest but he keeps proving fans wrong by winning so I think after the Lucas fight people have a new found respect for him now.
