Khan won't even beat Devon.
Why even? Alexander Garcia is hard to call. IMO Khan is the tougher matchup for Alexander. He's got more than enough power to stop Khan, but he isn't aggressive, doesn't commit often on punches, doesn't stalk or counter much. He's usually the more mobile, faster guy
The X Factor is his chin chin chin ......
Now let's just say he is able to stand on his feet, Khan needs to tighten up his offense due to his chin problems. With bigger punchers, Khan needs to throw less combos and pot shot a lot more. When pot shotting, he has the speed to put a little extra steam on his punch and then pull back quickly.
Again, Khan needs to throw 1 punch at a time with speed, accuracy and sting!
Also, Khan needs to be better aware of his whereabouts. That is, if he is actually seeing the opponent when they are throwing the punch, his body would react much better to the punch and possibly his chin will not crack so easily!
Dude this is what I've been saying all along!! khan needs to drop the 5/6 punch combos PERIOD. one punch or 2 punches MAX and get out, it would be harder for his opponents to "time" him
A look at each of their last fights would suggest it is a longshot. Khan had to get off the canvas against a past his prime Julio Diaz and Garcia possibly turned his best performance against the highly rated Matthysse. Add that to the fact that Garcia already knocked out Khan. I would say NO.
I got nothing against Kahn but I knew he was done at the elite level when Julio Diaz was snapping his head back when he landed anything remotely significant.
Khan is susceptible to overhand rights as well, please go back and re-watch the Danny Garcia fight. After Khan was dropped looked at what happened in the proceeding round...Khan literally ate like 11 right hands.
Khan can fight Garcia 10 times, he'll lose all 10 times.
Sure, but that was after he was hurt and all defense just went out the window and he was being stupid-
I don't think Garcia would win 10/10 at all. Not at all.
Agree with this
can't understand why khan is the favourite, did they not see his last fight
You know. I mean take a look at that last fight and you can see he's done as far as fighting and beating some of the better guys in the division, and I like Khan but real is real.
If anybody still think Amir Khan have a chance against Danny Garcia in a rematch?
only if he does what he did last time but remember to get on his bike b4 its too late.
Of course he has a chance. Stylistically, Khan is a much tougher fight for Danny because he doesn't stand in the pocket.
That being said, Danny would probably win again because Khan is embarrassingly susceptible to the left hook.
But he has a good chance.
