Floyd is too good for his own good. I'm not buying anymore of his fights until I see him fight manny, sergio, GGG, or someone worth watching. Garcia gets destroyed, Amir khan gets knocked out, broner gets schooled. Golden Boy has no one that is a legit opponent for Floyd. That's why the Top Rank Golden Boy thing is going to ruin boxing.

Thanks for letting us all know. We cared deeply, I couldn't even sleep last night because I didn't know your thoughts. Thank you so much for sharing.
Manny-lost his last 2 fights and is top rank and on HBO=no happening
Sergio and GGG=middleweights=not happening-plus both also fight on HBO
who cares about his fights against all these Mexicans, who can't land a single punch. Floyd needs Pac or GGG.
Its like if Lennox Lewis would only fought Morrisons or Tuas instead of facing somebody like Vitaly, Holy or Tyson.
If boxing fans on here are having reservations about buying any more May-Per-Views then casual fans have already made up their mind. It is going to be a very tough sell.
Brian Kenny on twitter suggested that he fight Danny Garcia at 140 and attempt to become a concurrent 3 division World Champ
why are you denouncing every GBP option?
GGG is no better or worse than quillin. Manny may not fight in the US anymore according to Bob. Sergio is the fight i'm hoping for. but the hbo thing may make that impossible.
Floyd is in the spot I thought he'd be in if he waxed Canelo. There's literally nobody for him to fight, much less than there was when he had his brief layoff when there were at least fights with Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Clottey and even the emerging Pacquiao to 140-147. At this point people are going to want challenges and unless Floyd makes a leap to Middleweight, Floyd's PPVs will be nothing more than Glorified Exhibition Bouts that cost $75 to watch. It's no diss to Floyd either because he's just that good and the talent pool for who can potentially fight him aren't up to par.
You think Sergio won't fight on Showtime to fight Floyd; Lou Dibella isn't bound to HBO like Bob Arum.
Martinez is bound to HBO. Dibella was trying to get HBO to get Cotto to commit somehow to an HBO deal for a potential Martinez vs Cotto fight. But Cotto after the Delvin fight (if he wins) has a choice of Canelo or Martinez w/out committing to either network. He's probably in the best position of his career.
We were talking about this after the fight.
I loved watching Floyd's performance against Canelo, but I feel like this might be the last Mayweather PPV I buy and I've bought them all (minus the Baldomir and Ortiz fights). The man is amazing, but I can't pay $75 for Boxing exhibitions anymore lol. Likely, he's gonna face the winner of Khan vs Alexander and potentially Danny down the road, even a Manny Pacquiao fight just doesn't entice me enough.

Fight Lara, hell I'd still watch him fight Lucas. Only two opponents I'd have any interest in seeing.
I was never keen on the Pacquaio fight anyway, mismatch of the highest order.
