This is a joke right? Barker would knock Manny out early. Barker has plenty of skills plus uses his height well, Manny is too small/sloppy and would get caught brutally.
Hot ****, amongst all the threads started by Floyd nuthuggers, *******s, and Canelo-has-an-ATG-snake-(and-it's-apparently-stuffed-in-your-mouth) ****heads, you hit me with an intriguing question. Thank you for that, sir.
Any version of Pac prior to his last fight would definitely have a chance; now, I think we have to see how he fares against Rios. If he wins convincingly - preferrably by KO after eating some good shots just to prove he still has a chin - I'd say a fight with Barker would be awesome to see. I could see a catchweight or re-hydration limit being completely fair and within the bounds of what Barker would be willing to do for a big payday (far larger than anything he'd find at middleweight at the moment).
lol 158lb catchweight, 168lb rehydration limit. I think he would do it and Eddie Hearn would probably be up for it but Arum and Roach likely wouldn't.
The Pacquiao that fought Margarito could do it
Hes too fast for Barker and would bust him up with combinations on the inside and then circle him and theres nothing Barker could do.
Still this wouldn't be a fair fight cuz Barker would outweigh Pac by at least 30 pounds
Wouldn't it not be fair on the basis of Pac being too fast and too good?

Hell no...he hasnt faced a legitmate welterweight since he beat Cotto and Clottey years ago....he could start by facing a welterweight who isnt moving up or washed up like some of his last few opponents like Bradley, Marquez, Mosley and Rios.
Thats a little too much to ask of Manny, he is a junior welterweight who moon lights as a welterweight. He won a vacant title at junior middleweight at a catchweight against an unranked opponent. Its not gonna happen. Barker would stop him in the first 5 rounds.
Didn't you create a thread crying about Pac aiming for JMM and Bradley and not real welters like Guerrero, Ortiz, Lopez, Alexander, Maidana, Broner?:rofl:
Could Manny win a 9th divisional title against Barker?
Manny would be too quick for barker. I'll say Manny would get the W!

next you will want to see him go after the Klitchkos at a catchweight, of course.
anybody know if he has woken up from the beat down he got from the King ? :boxing:

I don't see why not? Roberto Duran won titles at middle weight and super middle weight and he was about the same size as Pac. With that said, Pac said the Margarito fight was the highest he could go.
5's pretty impressive. Considering they weren't obtained through vacant titles and catchweights.
yeah defending your title or try to unify with cathweight is better:dance:
I voted no. I don't think Floyd could beat Barker either. Manny is just a big lightweight who fights at welterweight so he can drink and eat well and easily make weight with no drying out. He would probably be outweighted by Barker by almost 25 pounds when they entered the ring. Barker is a world class fighter and it's just to much size and weight difference to overcome in my opinion. Mayweather would also be outweighed by almost 20 pounds in the ring if he fought Barker. I believe that Floyd and Manny are two of the very rare fighters that make weight without missing any meals or drying out at all. I assume Barker would gain the 10 or 15 pounds most middleweights gain between the weigh in and the fight. If so then he would come in the ring weighing 170 to 175 pounds.

how about Floyd get his 6th so he can be almost as accomplished as Manny?

Bradley beat him in the Amateur's so who knows :lol1:
I'd give him a shot in all honestly despite the fact he'd probably come the ring like something stupid like 30 lbs lighter.
Re-hydration limit? Obviously any MW would take this fight with the money on offer.
