Now that Mares decided to exercise his rematch clause against Gonzales who can Gary Russell Jr fight. Goldenboy was planning on giving him a free ride to the top, after fighting a hand full of nobodies he was going to get a shot for the title. If they feel he's ready for a title shot then maybe now that Mares is fighting Gonzales we can finally see Mr Russell step it up. I would love to see him fight Javier Fortuna. Who would you guys like to watch him fight next.

hopefulyl this clown retires. I dont wanna see this cherrypicker get a title shot. I wanna see him at least fight a couple good fights first and earn it. FUUUUUK GARRY RUSSEL JR! I don't have anything against GR Jr, I think he is really talented but he hasn't fought anyone significant to deserve a title shot.

there is no reason Russell Jr.-Ponce de leon should not happen now I hope it's not PDL because he's been looking a little war beat lately . I would love to see Russell fight Fortuna and then the winner gets a title shot.
