IMO trout is a great fighter, he may not have the pop but he's fast, and big with great footwork. His style would give anybody problems........

I had Canelo winning by 1 point. Trout isnt that good.

Trout is a nightmare stylistically for anyone. Trout had all advantages over canelo. Canelo proved to be the better fighter.

The trout that Canelo beat is a tougher opponent than anyone Mayweather has ever fought. Your profile pic explains the high degree of bias in every comment you made in this thread. According to this foolery Canelo is already the P4P king. There should have been a Canelo/Trout rematch because the fight was close even though trout was hurt. Trout is good and will be back in the mix again but to totally piss on Floyd's resume is infantile.

Well I disagree with pretty much everything you just said. But ok. You take away Trout's height and he's a fish out of water. To me Shawn Porter has more pure boxing ability than Trout. Look at the punch stat numbers in his fights. He pulls his punches. He's a volume puncher with out the pressure to go with it. So I cant even call him a true pressure fighter.

Austin trout is not only very skilful but has a tremendous jab and reach advantage over Canelo. I was so impressed how the young man performed that night. As Austin trout said "I didn't realise he was that good" Trout is good, and still underrated. But IMO the fight between him and Canelo was very close. So i dont give him much of a chance against floyd. There is Floyd, and there is the rest. OK name 1 thing that Trout does great? I think is one of the best all round boxers in the game. He does everything well, but isnt great at any one thing.

Trout is a good fighter but not great. It would be difficult for anyone to look good against him though.

King Molina was on damn near a 2 year inactive because of promotional issues and came back off the layoff to whup Lara who was fighting every 2 months and sharp! Yes, Trout is a very good fighter. He is one of the best fighters to come from my state of New Mexico.He beat Cotto by almost exactly the same one sided score cards that Mayweather beat Cotto by and most thought that was a great win for Mayweather. The Canelo-Trout fight was a close fight but Canelo is improving with every fight and I think he will be much better for Mayweather. I can't think of any fighter that Mayweather has defeated that would not also be defeated by both Trout and Canelo in my opinion. I think Trout is the next best 154 pounder after Canelo and that includes Lara who Trout would love to fight.

Footwork , defense, and the best jab at 154. Heck no, Demetrius Andrande has way better jab than Trout. Andrande's jab is world class. Its a power jab that can neutralize you similar to Wlad's. Cotto 's jab is much better than Trouts. Trout's jab isn't even top 10 !!:nono:

Trout has heart/grit with a better than average skill combined with a nuisance of a southpaw style.. it must be annoying to fight him. Canelo boxed the boxer in the fight, he won the fight.

Ortiz has more pure boxing ability than Trout. Now he might be weak minded and a quitter and all those other things with it. But if I was looking at both in the gym and didn't know anything about either I would think Ortiz was the better fighter. Same goes for Mosley and Marquez.
