DAVID HAYE admits that even if he chops down gypsy giant Tyson Fury he could still be left frozen out of the world title scene.
The British rivals – both ranked in the top ten by three of the four world governing bodies – go toe-to-toe at Manchester Arena on September 28.
Haye, 32, is even the WBA’s top contender for Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko after Russian Alexander Povetkin, who the champion faces in a £15million clash on October 5.
Wladimir, 37, holds four of the five world titles while his brother Vitali is the WBC champion.
But Londoner Haye is not holding his breath over fighting either brother.

The difference is, Charr doesn't have an ego and Haye does. Haye thinks that he is the Floyd Mayweather of the Heavyweight Division.
And rightfully so, Vitali and his brother are also tough at the negotiating table. Hell, if you're the champion and until you get knocked off your throne, why not. If Haye was dead set on getting a shot at either brother and worry about the big paydays later, he could easily make these fights. Instead he wants to be treated as an EQUAL, and he is not their equal despite what he thinks he is worth because of his mouth.
Except that Haye conceded 65% in December 2011, signed the contract and waited for Vitali who then fought Chisora instead. That's what led to the press conference brawl in the first place.
He has said many times that he is not champion so he doesn't expect a 50/50 cut. But whether you or the k bros like it or not, Haye does generate the same amount of money as they do via Sky PPV. Now, it is also clear that Vitali would make more money fighting Haye than anyone else, so why not make the fight?
Wlad didn't look particularly good in that fight. Haye was just worse.
Wlad looked pretty good against a quick challenger, down the stretch he looked pretty comfortable actually, all the flopping to the ground just made it look like Wlad wasn't doing much but that was Hayes fault. I can't fault Wlad in that fight, he fought a guy who people said was his most dangerous opponent in years.
i agree, if Haye dispatches of Fury in impressive fashion then he should get a straight shot at either bro and in all honesty, Haye is the best and most dangerous opponent available to either klit and the way wlad dispatched of him goes to show you just how good he is.

Giant killing? Which fight are they talking about? Can't be the Valuev fight, when Haye spent 12 rounds just running away. The only other one is Vlad, who humiliated him and made him look second rate. If Fury stays disciplined and focused throughout the fight, and follows his corner's instructions, I think he can win this. I hope he does. ****y as he is, he is more honest than Haye, in that he always comes to fight and doesn't look for pathetic excuses when things don't work out for him.
Wlad is fighting Povetkin, then most likely Pulev. Get back in the line, he can.
Yes the Pov fight makes sense but with Haye beating Fury he'd become mando for the WBC belt while Pulev is mando for IBF...I'd rather see Wlad v Haye 2 in all honesty.
The thing is, Haye And Adam Booth don't give to hoots about wining the title they just want the big fight for the money... Let's be honest can you see Haye fighting with Pride,Guts, Heart, Passion?? Because I don't not when it comes to fighting the brothers.. He made a bad account of himself last time...
I don't think anyone wants to see Haye v Wlad again. Haye doesn't even want to see it again, he just wants the pay-cheque.
Haye v Vitali, I think the interest is there on all sides except Vitali's.
Won't happen. Vitali is retired.
Haye should fight Pulev after Fury
What I saw last night Pulev is a very average boxer and easy to hit
Pulev doesn't need Haye, he's already earned his shot at Wladimir.
I don't think anyone wants to see Haye v Wlad again. Haye doesn't even want to see it again, he just wants the pay-cheque.
Haye v Vitali, I think the interest is there on all sides except Vitali's.
Agreed. It was a stinker the first one was. Also, they would have to put it on PPV and people wouldn't buy it.
The only way i'd be psyched up for Haye-Wlad II is if Haye beats Vitali before.

Hell Tony Thompson got another shot and Haye did far better against Wlad than Thompson did. Wlad skates by about what he did in that fight against Haye but he talked all that junk about he was going to take Haye's head off and knock him out and he was scared to death to come forward. I thought Haye had the right game plan in that fight he had to sucker Wlad in and counter him but Wlad sat back, jabbed, ran, and won. Haye should have realized and adjusted after a few rounds when he realized Wlad wouldn't come forward, and I think in a second fight he would.
What a way to twist events. Haye talked a lot and did absolutely nothing while Wlad talked a little and easily won the fight.
Not sure who Haye has to fight and beat in the eyes of some of you clowns. Destroying iron-chinned Chisora in five, after Vitali couldn't put in a dent on him, was impressive enough; if he now blasts Fury out of there in a couple of rounds, surely he's the most deserving? Certainly Wilder needs a few more fights, Pulev needs a couple more fights, Helenius is garbage, who else is there?
Haye will get and will deserve another shot, but enough of this nonsense about Haye having done better than Thompson or being the best potential opponent. Thompson fought better in the first Wlad fight than Haye did, in my opinion, and Haye has done nothing in his career to solidify the status of 'best of the rest'. He's in the pack, to be sure, but ranks right alongside Thompson, Chambers, Povetkin, etc. He doesn't have better wins at HW than those guys. He only has more celebrity in his home country
Chambers, Thompson and Povetkin don't rank equal though and it's clear that Haye is a level above guys like Chambers and Thompson. Haye has done enough to get a fight vs Vitali. If Charr deserves it, Haye deserves it. Simple as that. It's the fight everybody wants to see after the two that's already been made this year.
