Theophane has a somewhat similar style to Matthysse. He had pretty good success in that bout. In fact it was a SD. Could have easily went to Theophane.
It is ONCE again, entirely plausible that they can harbor BOTH, a deluded sense of Lucas' abilities while at the same time, harbor a deep seated fear of his being brought down to earth. Am I clear enough yet?
Yes, and I have been very clear in explaining that it's mutually exclusive. If a fan considers some fighter a god in the boxing ring then they can't also be terrified that said fighter is going to lose. You know... because they consider him a god.
They love to point out how Lucas lost to Aexander and Judah but completely ignore the fact that Garcia lost to Theopane. Not only that but they claim Garcia has improved but when you say Lucas improved they tell you no.
I believe the words I'm looking for are double standards.

they both improved. Matthysse is going the more aggressive route so he doesn't leave it in the judges hands and I think Garcia's timing has improved.
Hey Superman, you have been on that stool for over an hour now. Get up! Don't give in bro, that was just the jab. Hold up, is that stool padded?
Sorry I had a job to go to and friends to hang out with during the day
Anyway, you're mother sucks cocks in hell, you were the result of a 20 man gang bang... No one knows who ur father is
You literally spend 14 hours a day playing with yourself on the internet, I think its safe to assume that, in you mid 40's you still don't have a job and live in your whore mother's basement, as she pays the bills by letting poor crack heads fuck her for pennies
Now, you're begging me to "get off the stool" which in grown up talk means "please don't stop playing with me, I'm so lonely and don't have any friends in real life... This is all the daily human interaction I get
I exposed you in 3 different thread... This makes 4
That's the match
It is ENTIRELY possible to CLAIM Matthysse is a god and yet, in the recesses of one's MIND, harbor fears of said "GOD" being smashed to shet.
Hey, I'm glad you changed your mind. Before you were all claiming that Matthysse fans are delusional and that they overrate him horribly. Now you're saying that they're only pretending to believe those things. It's a really weird concept and I don't know where you get it from but at least it's not a blatant contradiction now.
I know this sounds like a quip but I mean it sincerely:
Spend less time analyzing other people's minds and more time analyzing your own.
It is entirely possible to worship someone and fear they will be taken away from you..
It's not possible to look at Matthysse as a god in boxing and then also be terrified that he's going to lose. That's known as a contradiction, they're mutually exclusive.
You guys speak as if Matthysse fans underrate Garcia while overrating Matthysse, both to supposed insane extents. Then you say that they're terrified that Garcia is going to win. That does not compute, not in English.
Matthysse cant box for shlt. The guys foot work is god awful, horrible balance, he's slow, and throws looping punches that leave him open to counters. You people think he's this superb boxer that cant be touched. Also, his game planing is garbage too. Example, going into the Judah fight Matthysse was 27-0 with 21 KO's yet his game plan was to target Judahs body. Finally, when he decided that wasnt working he started to move away from the body and he had success, but it was to late.
I don't see how coming into his first big step up in competition against a dangerous (by reputation) opponent like Zab Judah boxing cautiously on the outside and going to the body is bad game planning...
It actually shows a high level of maturity, considering the majority of his fights at that point were against lesser opponents in Argentina... After all those early knockouts, you'd think he'd come into this fight with too much confidence, and wind up getting caught with something
And don't forget the most important thing, he made an adjustment in that fight, as you said... Started off slow, but ended more aggressively (in your opinion it was too late, but most people had Matthysse winning)
What about that seems like an unprepared fighter with no intelligence? Baring in mind that was 2 years ago
Danny Garcia is much more stronger now physically then he was then, he's filled out well & has good power in both hands.
He seemed faster in that fight then he does now though.

Garcia "In Fact" did not lose that fight. Watch it again
That goes on the list with PAC-Bradley and Lara-Williams. When commentators and fans both think its a one sided fight n the other guy wins, that's a problem. Garcia-Theopane and Matthysse vs Judah and Alexander weren't one sided.
Bradley PAC was not one sided..
I like how you guys claim that Matthysse's fans view him as a god but that they are also somehow terrified that he's going to lose. Little bit contradictory.
Yeah, and Roy Jones Jr. was officially a silver medalist. Welcome to boxing.
They are terrified of him losing. Maybe not u but a lot are. They have talked sooooooo much about Danny being scared and ducking then he took the fight. After that all I saw was Danny is gonna get killed, raped, abused etc. if Danny was to whip his ass, they would have to eat mountains of sh1t from posters here supporting Garcia.

I sense it too. They went from laughing at Danny's chances, to saying he is on Roids now. The fear is coming.

:lol1: it's just the Lucas fans feeling that heat.....dudes just full of nervous energy bro....they're not as confident as they once were so now they're digging for skeletons lol...they've dug up Theophane
