Can we say that Canelo is the best fighter he's faced?
when Floyd fought Corrales, many (myself included) thought Corrales would beat him. I can't think of one opponent since that so many thought would beat Floyd (Canelo included)
Floyd ruins fighters
no he doesnt,,, he beats them but doesnt ruin them,,,
he gave corrales the biggest beaten ever and corrales came back and had great wins,,,,
Hatton was slowing down,,,, he was on top, but aggressive pressure fighters usually have very short peak times,, Not saying hatton was shot,, its a good win for floyd, but i dont think floyd ruined hatton,,, he could have still beaten top guys,,, manny ruined hatton if anything,,, talk about a destruction
yet when other guys do that, people give credit to the guy and say that he ruined those fighters ala Hopkins
Jesus Chavez, Diego Corrales, Judah, Carlos Hernandez, Jose Luis Castillo all went on to win lineal titles or Major titles after losses to Mayweather....Hatton also went down and weight and defended his title 2 times....that being said Mayweather usually fights his opponents after big wins or in their prime.

True, but i guarantee you that floyd beats guys, but he doesnt ruin them,,,,
hopkins i do think ruined 2 or 3 guys mentally or physically,,,
castillo and corrales at least were better.
I agree because the time that Mayweather fought them he himself wasn't an established as he is now or was a couple of years ago.
And on the flip-side none of floyd's opponents ever have a big win after floyd fights them, except for jmm
ghost- to early to tell
cotto- lost to trout, no major wins and probably will never get anther big win
ortiz- hasnt had a big win, just another bad loss to lopez
mosley- never had another big win
jmm- has beaten manny, but jmm was never considered a threat to floyd, i think jmm was his biggest cherry-pick of his ppv opponents
hatton- never had another big win unless you count pauli
oscar- no big wins
baldomir- no big wins
judah- no big wins
shambra- no big wins
gatti- no big wins
brusceles- no big wins
corley- no big wins
n'dou- no big wins
sosa- no big wins
JLC- did go on to have big wins,,, floyd fought him in 2003....
So you have to go back a decade to find a legit opponent that had wins after a floyd fight,,,
So its safe to assume that floyd fought guys at the very, very end of when they were good, or they werent that good to begin with ala ortiz and ghost
yet when other guys do that, people give credit to the guy and say that he ruined those fighters ala Hopkins
At the time floyd fights his opponents they are coming off big wins . Call him what you want but he still fights fighters that are coming of career high wins
