Who would win between JMM and Lucas Matthysse?
This would be a great style matchup in my opinion.
LM is like a orthodox Pacquiao and it would be interresting to see how JMM would deal with that.
Vote, discuss. Thanks.
This would be an amazing fight! I favor Maquez just because he is a true professional of his craft. Matthysse is a beast though. Great fantasy match up.
Should be an interesting fight, I would pick Marquez because of his experience. BUT I wont count Mattysse out, if he lands one of his heavy punch like the way Katsidis landed on Marquez.
Marquez CAN and SHOULD win this fight. He has never been stopped and I dont think Lucas would be the guy to do it. Marquez outboxes him in a 116-112 type of fight.
IDK who wins and the fight probably won't ever happen but man would it be a great fight. I think JMM knocks out Bradley if the guy who last fought Pacquiao shows up and any version of Matthysse beats Garcia so that fight could be for the lineal 140 lb. title.
Marquez would outboxes him in each and every rounds, but Matthysse would knock him down enough to win a few 10-8 rounds and win the fight by split decision.
Marquez is way too old to take on Matthysse, Lucas beats a 40 year old Marquez.
I this stage in Marquez career unless he gets on those power pellets Lucas will brutally destroy him.
I think Matthysse is the product of way too much hype but he has a good chance of defeating old man Marquez. People really don't seem to understand just how worn JMM is at this stage.
piss drinker is too old to fuck with Lucas
Lucas would find him and knock his ass out
don't even think it would be a long beating, just a couple big shots
expecting Bradley's youth and energy to be too much for Marquez
put him in with a younger, fresher guy who can really hit? it's over
That would be a fight that i'd love to see, i'd say JMM by KO
I didn't realize that I didn't specify a weight class. I guess at 140, assuming JMM can still make 140.

Well he was dropped 3 times in the first round of the Pac fight lol. I think Matthysse finishes him.
In one.
His piss and steroids will be all over the ring lol
Dropped isn't knocked out is it.
If anything being dropped shows his chin is good, because he isn't knocked out, legs are ok, and he can carry on. In-fact he usually goes on to do better.
Ok, he picks up a knock-down or two like he did with Pac & Katsidis.
Yeah agree. But he doesn't lose to Matthysse.
JMM is too small. The only person he should be fighting at 140 or up is Pacquiao since he knows him like the back of his hand
What?!? JMM and Matthysse look like the same size.
You also forgot to mention Michael Katsidis left hook which managed to drop Marquez in there bout, the hook was a thing of beauty
41 second mark:
My point exactly. And since we're making a list I would bet that Danny gives him a smack too.
I'll go with Lucas on this. JMM has and always will be vulnerable to a good left hook. Go down the line and look at his fights. Mayweather, Pacquiao, Casamoyer, hell even Jaun Diaz' left hook found a home during their fight. Even with JMM on his back foot I just don't see how he could get away from Matthysse' left hook. In fact I think it would end badly.

^^^^^ This is it^^^^^
I remember that Diaz fight very well. And listening to HBO talk up Jaun Diaz leading up you would've thought he was the hall of fame fighter going in.
