Hey guys something to think about: Al Haymon's #1 client is guaranteed $40 mil for his next fight-which is about $3 mil more than the combined guaranteed purses of the #2 and #3 highest earning fighters in the world combined. When in the history of the sport has this ever happened?

So we have Top Rank vs GBP, Showtime vs HBO and within that, the Al Haymon's vs the rest. The politics of boxing is way more intriguing than the boxing.

Chino wants Mayweather and his team has a plan to get it, that apparently has been approved by De la Hoya and Floyd's managers. Maidana and his team see Broner as a step to get Mayweather. I've posted yet the article in the Clarín newspaper about this issue. Here is Chino saying it a month ago during an event in the town of Margarita (where he is from). Chino wants Mayweather If Chino beats Broner (which is very likely) and Lucas beats García, I think Floyd will fight Chino first, while the Matthysse bout keeps building up. All this assuming Floyd ends unharmed his Canelo fight, which I wouldn't take for granted.

Manager/Adviser.. Whatever Al Haymon is. I don't understand why GBP can't just handle these guys on their own. Why do boxers need a manager? Why are they so willing to give more % of their fight purse away. Would be interesting to see the true inner workings.

He is signing everyone at welterweight, it seems. Anyone you could name that might get a Mayweather fight in any scenario is with Haymon. There is something much bigger going on with all these signings as of late. Think about it, Golden Boy wants all of their fighters to sign managerial packs with Al Haymon since promoters can't manage fighters and just how many welterweights are left who are with other promotional outfits. Pacquiao, Bradley and Marquez. Soon Showtime and Golden Boy will control junior welterweight-jr middleweight but by then fighters in every other division will be clamoring to be with Golden Boy. Just my random piece of shyt thoughts. Top Rank & HBO have been out maneuvered.
