no hating at all
it has been common knowledge, gb used canelo to help floyd get his ppv numbers, while his fans on here and himself took all the credit in terms of floyd being responsible, his last ppv, no canelo, smiler stature fighter to say ortiz and his ppv flopped to about 850k buys costing showtime on the region of 15-20m
before this, someone like pac who had terrible undercards was close to hitting floyds numbers in his prime
the next ppv will do well but garcia vs math and possibly lara vs trout? will be on it, will those 2 fights make an average ppv do good like it has done for him in the past?
does this show floyd is not the super duper draw he claims to be?
what are your thoughts, since all we have to talk about is bs at the moment due to low boxing activity
No, Mayweather does not need a stacked undercard. He just needs a credible opponent. I honestly don't feel that Canelo is credible opponent but Canelo does have some star power. That alone will make this a successful PPV.
GBP is only stacking the undercard to showcase guys like Garcia and Mathysse as possible Future opponents for FMJ. This way they don't have another flop like Guerrero because he was relatively unknown.
Its pretty obvious the answer is yes
And the under card for the Guerrerro fight was very good but the main event stunk the place out
This will be no different. Awesome undercard and lame main event. This'll be lucky to break 1.3 million buys
Still have packy teenie weenie in your eye
Here's what people don't understand because they've become so used to these outrageous numbers that generally are not the norm for any other fighter.
500K is a successful PPV.
To be able to sell a Million, is outstanding. Going over a million is generally unheard of except for the few superstars who have been apart of boxing like Oscar, Tyson, Pacquiao, Floyd, and even Holyfield.
That's 5 fighters over the last 25 years out of how many fighters total?
When Floyd sold over a million fighting Victor Ortiz, that was impressive to me.
When Pacquiao sold 700k fighting............. JOSHUA CLOTTEY... that was ridiculously impressive to me.
Spot on! Well said. #Exposed

the promoters and ppv carrier need to beefed up pbf's undercard....
or suffer another debacle
Manny can only fight Bradley or Marquez next he doesn't have alot options unless he leaves Top Rank
Provodnikov/Avarado winner, Rios 2, 3, 4, assuming Rios wins...
Rios is already on his last legs. Have you heard this guy talk lately. Hes already punch drunk. If he wins TR is truly fvcked.
Lmfao he does sound like he's getting punch drunk but bob can still make good money off of rios if he was to win. If PAC wins he's back in the mix with the top 147pounders. Pretty sure bob wants rios to win.
Mannys such a huge star then why is he getting shipped off to China?
Because it a huge market, and arum can make alot of cash of manny, plus manny can get all roided again and beat the hell out of rios....
Manny going to macau is a business move, its not like jones or toney going to russia and fighting..
The Ortiz fight on Cinco de Mayo was riddled with Mexican superstars in the undercards but still fell short of the expectations. It's most likely worse without them.
Mannys such a huge star then why is he getting shipped off to China?
Bob cashing out that's why. If rios wins he has a new star and make alot of money off of bam bam. If PAC wins he can continue pimping him.
Exactly. I commend GBP for putting Garcia-Matthysse on the card, but I think it's a bad business move, atleast in the short run. That fight would've done great as a non-PPV main event.
I disagree, particularly if they are looking to build up those two. they will likely put on a very entertaining fight with big exposure and possibly a big KO finish thus making the winner a known and exciting opponent for floyd's next big PPV (if he gets through Canelo)
read my post again, floydiot.
once in a while take off fraud's clit out of your mouth and maybe you'll learn how to comprehend.
ok you closet homosexual with the we all know Floyds fan stream(because they can't afford it) but i can't comprehend
Butthurt no i find it funny you believe no Floyd fan can afford his PPV's if that makes feel better go ahead simpleton

it's funny how there a million reasons floyd isn't a draw and why those fights did the numbers they did.
but there are several ppvs that disprove it if the haters would just look up his ppv the excuses don't hold weight.
