11/23 Carl Froch vs. George Groves: Who do you got?

anyone have any groves fight they can recommend i watch? Main ones would probably be vs Kenny Anderson vs James DeGale and to a lesser extent vs Charles Adamu vs Francisco Sierra vs Glen Johnson

I think it's going to be a fight than some are predicting. On the one hand, Froch has always had the most bother with boxers, and Groves looked pretty polished in his last fight - he's really improved since fighting De Gale. On the other hand, there is still a slight question mark over his chin (after the scare vs Anderson), and at some point he'll be liable to be tagged hard by Froch - I can't see him outboxing him for the whole 12 rounds at this stage in his career, so when (and I believe it is when, not if) Froch drags him into deep water, then we'll see how good he's really become. So, having said all this, I would agree with most others, and predict a Froch win by stoppage in the last few rounds, but Groves coming out of it with a lot of credit for his performance.

Don't care, both are incredibly average fighters. Even though one of them has the best fight for fight record in pro boxing right now? :sad:

Head says Froch, heart says Groves. I'd like Groves to win as he is my current favourite, so i'm gonna stick with him!

Groves is getting smashed to pieces. Far too big a leap in quality or him, and I have question marks over his chin.

carl's gonna blow him out... this fight's too soon for groves, he's not mixed it at that level..... in a couple of years i'd have groves.... but right now.... carl's a level above..... he'll man handle him Yeah, I hope the beatdown isn't so bad as to take something significant out of Groves for the future. I like Groves but there's a possibility he gets slaughtered in this fight. He's not that slick and still leaks punches, he marks/cuts easily and has a tendency to hang his chin out. Froch is very awkward and has a good jab (Groves too), so it'll be interesting to see who wins in that department. I really like Groves' right over the top and he can definitely punch. Surprised to see this happening so soon, I thought this would happen next year at the earliest. Way too early for Groves when you look at his competition and Froch isn't gaining anything from this either. Don't think there is any money on Groves, might be in it going the distance though. Froch will gain a lot of hype from another KO win setting up a Summer '14 clash with Ward or Kessler. It's another top 10 win on his resume too.

I think Groves is going to do very well early in this fight but eventually I see Froch winning by a late stoppage. Groves has good skills but I think Froch has too much experience and is too strong for Groves. I like this fight a lot though and it is going to be massive in the UK.

Froch fought an excellent fight against Kessler but he still has to improve his defensive skills IMO. I have Froch by K.o in the seventh

Seen Groves but not much. From what ive seen it looks like an interesting fight. Vs Pac card huh it'll be on earlier in the day so fans can still see both.

Groves has the slick American style that can really trouble Froch. He just has to avoid Froch power shots. HUGE step up in competition for the 25 year old Groves but I think he'll come through with a close but clear win. Groves by decision barely got past degale.... went to hell and back with anderson.... fought a 'retired' glen johnson.... he's got no names on his resume....
