this is what margarito's power actually looks like. yeah just look at even the first minute and a half... the punches margarito throws are arm punches even versus Cotto... he doesn't turn them over that good and thats probably the reason he had such great stamina,normally high stamina guys that don't put much into their punches can't really put their opponents away. Margarito was throwing arm punches against Cotto yet doing devastating damage to Cotto and hurting him not in a jelly legged way like we saw previously with Ricardo Torres and Demarcus Corley but in a brutal fashion much like being hit with a hard object rather than fists

I call BS on this one and I love Margarito. He used a well-know substance known as Plaster of Paris, which is a crystalized salt that hardens like thin plaster. I have seen a dude wrap his hands in a boxing gym and an old timer apply it to his wraps to show what it looks and feels like about 18-20 years ago myself. :boxing::boxing::boxing: I'm not saying that you're a liar or that your memory has failed you but....I refer you to the Boxing Illustrated-Cleveland Williams experiment that I've just mentioned in a post just above. I'm sure it must be on the internet. I myself have the original magazine in which it was described. The FIRST Commission guy in the dressing room to handle the gauze pad said that it was "slightly stiff in a few spots as if there has been drops of water".
