Agreed, Canelo has nothing better than GGG except counter punching, if he tries to use his duck and weave defense he gasses in 4 rounds. No way out but GGG KO round 5. Yea but remember Canelo fights like a veteran. I hate the kid but props must be given. If he knows he is going to gas, he takes parts of the round off. He takes it slow in the early rounds, then picks it up in the mid rounds, then takes it easy later on if he cant hurt you. He knows how to preserve. And when he spends most of the round being defensive, thats just him taking a rest. Veteran tricks. With all of this being said, I dont know who would win out of Canelo and GGG. GGG swells and bruises easy. He can tap hard, but I dont know if he could take a punch himself from a puncher like Canelo. I would LOVE that fight.

Macklin fought to a close decision loss against sturm.... a sturm on a decline.... which pretty much earned him his shot at martinez.... then got stopped by martinez.... like i said before up until that sturm fight, his most memorable contribution to the sport was getting stopped by jamie moore.

I think GGG would beat Alvarez - although it remains to be seen if Golovkin could make 154 and keep his power. I doubt Alvarez would agree to a 157 catchweight - nor should he. Either fight for GGG's 160 title or GGG has to make 154. F*ck "catchweight" fights! Mayweather should not fight above 147 after Alvarez so Floyd-GGG highly unlikely imo.

Don't worry. Quillin and Mayweather are safe. Quillin won't fight him and Mayweather would want the fight to be at 148 pounds. Jcc jr hasnt done anything to be ranked over GGG. He beat a very overrated Andy Lee (not as good as Macklin), a very very close win over Zbik and got mashed for 11.5 rounds against Martinez. Only thing Jcc Jr does better than GGG is 'be the son of a great Mexican' chin.... size and physical strength.
