Canelo. I find it strange that for a good amount of time now, Mayweather chooses a Hispanic weekend to stage his fights. He should fight on Independence Day, Memorial Weekend or why not MLK Day? He should also consider fighting a young American fighter instead of choosing a non American who is just going to run back to their native country with all that American money. thats what ive been sayin for a long time, but people here just seem to ignore the fact that floyd needs to fight mexican/americans on our holiday weekends. the sad thing is that theres better fights to be made on our holidays and we get to miss out.

60/40 Mayweather, only because Mayweather is a proven PPV sale. Canelo brings something to the table but he's yet to prove what he can do headlining a PPV. Mayweather on the other hand has contributed to many successfull PPV events, can't take that away from him no matter how much he's hated.

Floyd or Canelo? I think this record will come close but I think Canelo has way more fans. I think its a combination of both. Floyd has more ppv fights and draws. canelo has a large growing fanbase. if they break numbers, its because of both of them.

It's not a PPV without Mayweather. If Canelo was a PPV draw he'd have been on one with Trout. Hell Mayweather was on one with Gatti and Baldomir. how can gbp make a ppv 2 weeks before may 4th, after that mega deal with showtime he wasnt going to hurt them, they barely made 800k and with a canelo ppv ahead wouldnt even get to 500k... there is a reason why canelo got the fight even after showing his middle finger to floyd...
