Sergio Martinez:"Golovkin is a good option"

An article that came out today of an argentine newspaper. This is mainly what it says... Maravilla said before that he was looking forward for a fight with Miguel Cotto or Julio César Chávez Jr. But since Cotto will be fighting the winner of Ishe Smith and Carlos Molina and he thinks that Cahvez jr, can't make weight anymore. He is starting to evaluate a possible fight against the WBA MW champion. "I prefer to wait and listen to offers. Golovkin has a fight with Macklin now. He (Golovkin ) wont underrate him (Macklin), but he is there to win because he has lot of power. if Sergio will fight Gennady, same people will say KIng was too old, not healed etc. Probably, it doesn't matter though. Golovkin just wants to fight.

Junior put him down very easily with one of the four punches that landed! His last fight showed he's done! His legs aren't under him so the chin will be weak, GGG will hurt him bad and KO him! He does need a good name to earn because his name alone isn't enough! Ray

Because after finally catching with that ducking piece of **** Chavez jr. he wanted to do his first title defense in Argentina. The fans wanted it and the place was packed, he got paid a fortune for that fight, most of all paid by the Argentine government. Fighting a guy from England was especially attractive. Its not as if he's Danny Garcia ducking his mandatories for years like a *****. And what was he doing whilst waiting for Chavez? Oh yeah....fighting the likes of Darren Barker.

Talking about it is one thing and doing it is another. If GGG wins this weekend then he is the only guy Martinez should be fighting if he is a true champion. Cotto is just a money making easy fight against a guy that never beat a middleweight. Chavez is a guy he easily beat already.

The exact time Golovkin called out Sergio was less than a year ago, when he beat Proksa. Before that his trainer was saying GGG wasn't ready to fight Sergio. If HBO pays the right money, i think there will be no problem, Sergio will take the fight. I personally think that a prime Paul Williams was as difficult as a Chavez jr or a Golovkin fight. He might get koed but that way it works. He would give his belt to the man at MW and after the beating he would get closer to a later Cotto fight.

Not fighting someone and ducking them are two different things I didn't say whether he was ducking or not. I will say that fighting lesser fighters over the best guys in your division is ducking. People are too quick to say either way. At least wait till Golovkin wins and Sergio comes back. Talk doesn't mean sh1t.

To go against GGG in his condition he's got some brass balls. His hands are ruined, and so is his knee. if he retired right now I wouldnt think any less or him. If 3G wins at least the belt will go to a worthy champ. So many today dont deserve the belt they have.
