This i think you hit the nail on the head. You could actually argue that all the dumb moves his made that have fked up his career are all about money, to make money you have to be willing to invest money that includes leech promoters and a good trainer, but when you've never had money or never been around the pro game before and come from nothing (Which is funny if you think about it Olympic gold medalists broke man without hope only in Cuba) it's easy to make stupid decisions. I'm all for saving money, but these guys are just penny wise and pound foolish. It's one thing to wanna save a few bucks at Costco, it's another thing to fuck with a multi-million dollar career. I hope Gamboa wakes the hell up.

I've got a real problem with Yuri being trained by his father. Gamboa is a major talent. Carlos may be good, but an exceptional boxer like Yuri requires an exceptional trainer. Lol take it easy kid probably been watching him longer than you boxing, and you saying International as in "foreign" like the other guys you mentioned makes no sense he does not fit that, he has been living and fighting in the US since 07 more like he landed in Germany to start his career because Arena Box promotions(Oner)was the guy that got him out. That fizzled out because of the bogusness of the people with the "papers" the MLB (which was the only investigation into it) discredited it they tried to buy the papers to prove they where legit by a lot of money but the guys wouldn't come forward out of the shadows and sell obviously afraid of fraud law suits, thats why nobody talked about it after a while and nobody got reprehended in the MLB ofc no1 here gives 2 sh*ts about facts lol. Like gamboa. He needs to take care of buisness saturday. Then take out either burns or vasquez at 135 then move up 140 to set up some big fights for himself. Hes already getting older so the time is now for him to make some noise. With HBO having already lost Mayweather & in effect Golden boy you would hope they are smart enough to try & keep somebody as good as Gamboa. Gamboa still has potential to be a much bigger star.
