Even if it's a 8-4 type of fight, don't be surprised if you see Mayweather vs Canelo II happening next year in May at 154.
Let's be real. Floyd is seen as a hypocrite sure. But it did prove all the people wrong that said "no way he'll fight Canelo" Both sides have crow to eat. We'll still be enjoying a 36 year old Floyd Mayweather Jr. take on the biggest weight difference he's ever faced in his career. 150 lb vs 165-175lb? And he's doing it in only his 2nd fight of his contract.
I could see it going both ways.
If its 8-4 maybe they do another one. Or maybe Floyd thinks he will be a year older and Canelo will be a year better and stronger and may not do it again.
Rooting hard for ginger in this one and am trying to work out a trip to Vegas to be there (probably not at the fight itself, prices will be crazy) but win or lose this will be a good night for boxing.

If it's that close, everyone will be screaming robbery.
Rematch with more hype and attention, more money in Showtime's and Mayweather's pocket.
Stack the card and I'm good
If Floyd wins by that margin, of course he'd want a rematch for the most money possible, and I doubt he'd care about weight at that point. Or maybe Canelo doesn't come in drained, and he KO's Floyd.
