So what do you fools have to say about the 152 catch weight? Member all that shtt y'all talked about Manny for his catch weight fights. Well what do you have to say now? I'm really curious tbh.
Are y'all still fans of Floyd? Will you give him credit if he beats canelo or will you shtt on him like you do Manny?
:smilol:  bu bu Floyd only fights his opponent's at their most comfy weight when their healthy and strong
how do you figure cotto was drained but canelo won't be? 145 and 152 are both 2 pounds.
i said perhaps he was, but oscar def was drained no doubt. Well have to see if 152 is 'draining' canelo. But one thing is for sure, if floyd schools him which is a high possibility. They will say he was drained
152 makes sense, as i stated in another thread, floyd is linear champ at welterweight, canelo is linear champ at 154, it makes sense to mee tin the middle. chavez ans whitaker did the exact same thing because of the circumstances. thats actually happened alot.
with manny it was CLEARLY about getting an advantage and nothing else. this is less to me about advantage and more about the fact that mayweather not only has a big name but is the legit linear champ in his division, since canelo is also, it actually makes sense to meet in themiddle.
with pacquiao i feel the circumstances were different because he was taking on a washed up margarito, pacquiao was not linear champion and neither was margarito and pacquiao never actually went up to that weight and did anything. he just got a belt at 150 and rolled with it.
both are ***** moves. No way around it.
What it says to me is Floyd is a hypocrite. But I never mad a big deal about any other fighters asking for catch weights and I won't start now. No matter who asked for the catch weight both fighters had to agree. In my eyes its still a good fight.
I don't like it personally, but I wouldn't have liked Canelo to outweigh Floyd by 22 pounds as well, this is why we need same day weigh ins. At least it's done and people could shut up.
For safety reasons we absolutely do not need this.
What a load of bullshit.
its a load of BS that two linear champions meet in the middle ala whitaker and chavez?
and the manny situation with margarito werent under the same circumstnces since margarito wasnt linear champion of anythig and neither was pacuqiao.
Im not saying my opinion is 100 percent right, but simply saying its BS? come on man.
was cotto drained? perhaps.. was ODH drained? 100%.. is canelo at 152 draining him? not really. Is floyd a hypocrite? somewhat. But people will still complain and give excuses since thats all they know how to do. They need and out when their fighter loses

It does goes against what he says BUT he isn't fighting for a title in a weight class he never been in... Manny fought Marg for the 154 belt at like 150... Floyd already owns a 154 belt.
Fair assessment really.
