Which card will you guys be watching live?
Showtime:
Maidana vs Lopez
Lara vs Angulo
Bika vs Periban
HBO:
Dawson vs Stevenson
Gamboa vs Perez
I'll be watching showtime live and recording HBO, dont really care about dawson more looking forward to seeing gamboa. :boxing:
Whichever one comes one first, the other will get dvred. But it's not just these 2 cards, there's Huck Afolabi and JC Sanchez vs undefeated guy on Unimas. Then you got some decent off tv undercards, like Eleider Alvarez vs Allan Green, and Kamegai Perez which will be on SHO Extreme afaik.
:lol1:
Showtime, not even gonna watch the HBO card. On top of being boring, Dawson is also a quitter. Might check out Gamboa's fight doe
Exactly what I was gonna post
not interested in bika/periban so whichever fight starts first (lara/angulo or gamboa/perez) i'll watch live. i'll tune into the other card immediately after the first one is over. it should be a great night of boxing, can't wait.
are you implying ortiz is a top caliber fighter?
Top level would be more accurate. By no means am I suggesting that he's P4P material. But he has faced top level competition with mixed results.
He was a clear favorite over Lopez, who he hand picked to try and get back on track after the Mayweather loss.
Maidana vs Lopez
On paper this is the fight of the night
Lara vs Angulo
mismatch Angulo is going to be embarrassed
Bika vs Periban
This could be a good fight too
Dawson vs Stevenson
Is Stevenson for real? We will see
Gamboa vs Perez
Gamboa could get KO'd out here so this could have good drama
Winner of the night is Showtime
Nowadays light heavyweight are the worst fights right after cruiserweigh idk why hbo keep spending money on those fights. should of just had gamboa as the main event lol
Showtime wins so easily. It's crazy because when I was watching Froch-Kessler 2, HBO felt like the secondary network for the first time ever. I never recognized how good of a job Showtime was doing until I went back to HBO after a while.
Im going to watch showtime one live, but i'll make sure to catch the HBO card on the rebroadcast or maybe youtube. Dawson isn't the most exciting fighter to watch, plus Maidana is my boy.
showtime is winning in 2013 so far.
I'll be watching both cards that night. One card will be on before the other so which ever card comes on first.
Then watch the other card later that night . I won't come on here and post about the fights till the next day.
I like it when HBO and Showtime go head to head. 5 fights in one night why hate on that as a boxing fan.
