Looks likely this fight has a good chance of happening sooner or later. I'd say if we hear that Mayweather is postponing his September date to December (to let the hand heal more) the Khan fight is probably a done deal because Khan can't fight until December due to religious reasons.
Does Khan have a shot against Mayweather or is he like everyone else at 147.. in a fight they just can't win? Official poll coming up.
I believe Khan does much better than people think and possibly pulls off the upset.
Yes. He has a certified glass chin but I don't think Mayweather has the power to shatter it.
Uh ohhh...
Unless Khan fast hands catches Floyd with something which is highly unlikely is the only chance I give him.
Khan has nothing but fast hands. Even when backs up and runs his balance is bad. Khan might get KOed very early in this fight by a fast counter. Floyd is not Judah
You never know - styles make fights. Look how Judah was coming on strong against Garcia in their fight and won the championship rounds.. whereas Khan beat him in 5 rounds. Styles make fights man, Khan and Mayweathers styles could make for an interesting match up. That fight will be entertaining either way.

Khan annoys the living **** out of me...
He has the offensive skill set, speed and heart to beat anyone in and around his weight class but he doesn't work a great deal on his defense to stop his glass jaw from getting bashed around, then knowing he has a glass jaw he decides to start trading all the time.
If Khan actually learnt a lesson vs Prescott or Maidana then i'd give him a decent chance, fact is he'll always try to stand there and trade and get caught in the process, Mayweather wins as easily as he did vs Marquez.
Speed doesnt trouble Mayweather.
Judah had success because he was technically brilliant before inevitably folding.
In the third round i think it was, he got his lead foot outside Mayweather's and smashed him with an uppercut. Perfectly executed and best punch to use on him.
You dont often see Floyd outfoxed. But thats what Zab did there. That was set-up not speed.
Khan gets stopped.

This would be Mayweather's easiest fight in about 10 years.
Sorry, but Khan has nothing. All he has to offer is speed, but it is useless when you lack skill, intelligence, variety, defence, punch resistance and positional awareness. Khan has been timed and countered by the likes of Garcia in a couple of rounds, Mayweather works him out in the first round and beats the crap out of him.
There was a time a couple of years ago when I thought Khan was in with a shot of beating Floyd, although that ship has sailed. His chin seems to be getting worse with every passing moment. I'd still like to see the fight, though. It'd be interesting to see how Mayweather copes with someone potentially quicker than him. Would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than seeing him face Alexander or any more slow, blown up fighters (not to discredit Floyd for his recent performances), IMO.
Diaz damn near KOed Khan and he might have finished Khan if the English referee didn't stop the action to warn Diaz for taunting Khan. Khan could not knock Diaz down even though Diaz has been KOed 5 times. How would Khan do with the best welterweight in the world? I think he would lose every round by a mile until Mayweather got tired of playing with him and KOed him.
Khan beat Diaz.. Otherwise you say an old Mosley "near KOd" Mayweather, how is he going to beat a young buck like Guerrero or Ortiz.. see how that logic fails.. things happen in fights.. seems you expect Khan to pitch perfect performances but you wouldn't apply same logic to other fighters.. Ortiz quit against Maidana and was "near KOd" by Berto.. why did he fight Floyd? Guerrero beat by Diaz, and "nearly beat" by Aydin.. why'd he fight Floyd? Marquez was beat by Pacquiao.. why'd he fight Floyd? Cotto was beat by Margarito and Pacquiao.. why'd he fight Floyd? and so on.. that logic is fail
I'm a big Khan fan, and I highly doubt that Khan will beat Floyd. No way...
Khan's speed might bother Floyd in the beginning, but Floyd is the master in adjusting. And he will adjust and school Khan.
Floyd by decision.
Why are there options for Khan? Mayweather late KO, Mayweather early KO, or Mayweather Wide UD
The option is to verify if the posters are alive not khan-bots.
Khan's hand a footspeed would genuinely cause Floyd some trouble and it would take some rounds to get used to. Amir's problem though........is that he is hittable. He is not disciplined enough not to get tagged and throwing combos against Floy will egt him tagged more than a few times.
Khan has the most loyal, devoted fans in the world. He just barely beat Diaz who boxrec ranks as the #36 welterweight in the world.
