Who is Mayweather most scared of Margarito, Pac or Canelo

Floyd went to some serious lengths to duck both Marg and Pac. Both made Floyd go on premature retirement/extended vacation. I think Pac is slightly ahead, because I believe that Floyd also entered his guilty plea last year in order spend time in prison to avoid Pac. But it truly is a toss up between Marg and Pac.

I've personally spoken to some people who were there that day Tony literally walked up to Floyd and asked for a fight. They stated that there was a disgusting, unbearable stench coming from Mayweather's table soon after Tony left, and that he took his time before leaving the building and waited for almost everybody else to leave first. I can't prove anything, but my sources have told me that Leonard Ellerbe and one or two other members of Floyd's team were seen carrying white towels and forming some sort of enclosed guard around Floyd as they were leaving the building.

Floyds not scared. Floyd fantasy beats all those guys, so there's no point in him fighting them.

Margarito would stand no chance against floyd, floyd never fought him because there were always better fights out there. People forget tony was just another unknown paper title holder with no big wins and a ****load of losses until he beat cotto. Then he got destroyed and disgraced in his very next fight, all of which happened while floyd was retired. There was never a time when this fight maee sense. Believe it or not a vivian harris fight at one point made more sense for floyd than a margarito fight ever did. It all makes little difference though since both would have been outclassed from start to finish.

Lol.. fighters at this level arent scared of anyone. If it was in their mental makeup to get intimidated by another man they would never reach this level to begin with. There are always threatening guys out there, always. If you are gonna let someone convince you they can beat you without acctually doing it you could never have any success in boxing. That would have been evident long ago too, if floyd had that in him it would have shown when he was a kid competing against grown men in the ams or sparring much older and bigger guys in the gym. You dont fight for 30 years, reach the pinnacle of the sport and then start getting scared of boxing all of a sudden. That said, even if he did the idea of margarito intimidating him is still absurd. Floyd could beat tony in his sleep, complete mismatch. Pac and canelo at least have a punchers chance, which isnt much of a chance but its something. Margarito has nothing.

Margarito with Steve Smoger as the ref would have been the fight that interested me the most. Prime 2008 Manny would also have really appealed.

What did a win over Margarito ever do for anybody? In fact Floyd beat the last two guys that knocked Margarito out and they were all considered shot. Going up to Floyd at a charity event is more than anything that bum ever done in the ring. Any fighter with handspeed can get passed Margarito.

There's a reason why Mayweather didn't get in the ring with Margarito & Mayweather ppl can say all they want but if a fighter doesn't hv the b***s to get in the ring then that's even worst. Even ppl say Margarito would loose, at least he wasn't scared to take the challenge

I agree, and this is the precise reason Mayweather did everything in his power to avoid Margarito. Mayweather shots are only a deterrent to fighters from coming in but someone like Margarito wont even have respect for his shots nor will he mind eating shots so it will be a uphill battle from the start for Mayweather. How it plays out we can only assume but what we do know for a fact is that Mayweather ducked Margarito and thats a fact! why did he duck em? has to be chalked up to fear cause the money was there. If they used Smoger or Weeks as the ref, you better believe Margarito would give him hell in there, but obviously Floyd would handpick someone like Cortez or Byrd.

Floyd could do a lot of things but he's gotta get in the ring before he can do them. Unfortunately we will never know because he's too scared to get in the ring with any of them. One thing is for sure, he will never have Margaritos huvos and might oout box him but never have the power to hurt him.

I broadly agree, but the question I would ask is whether there is enough pop in Floyd's punches to slow Margarito down and keep him back. It took committed power shots and combinations to even slow a prime Margarito down. I don't think Floyd had that type of fire power. Floyd would be elusive, but Margarito could easily just take one arm and push him to a spot where he could land a shot with the free hand. Hold him against the ropes, and land some body shots as well. It's not clear cut until you actually watch them fight.

Floyd would win a competitive, but wide decision over Margarito. Floyd would get a good workout in, but that's about it. Floyd could do what Cotto did on the back foot without getting tired and without getting hit as much. Floyd also knows how to clinch and limit a pressure fighter's output I broadly agree, but the question I would ask is whether there is enough pop in Floyd's punches to slow Margarito down and keep him back.
