Paul Williams Update anyone?

Wonder if he will get into HOF, I always hated his dick riders but respected the hell out of Paul for taking on all comers from Welterweight to Middleweight Get into the HOF for what?

I would have loved to see Paul Williams vs Mayweather Mayweather would still demand a catchweight to fight current day Williams.

The only thing I criticize about boxing is those promoters issues. Paul Williams was one of the best boxers around, and he couldn't find the best opposition to make big fights because he wasn't a big draw, so it was a nothing to win-everything to lose for fighters and promoters putting up those kind of fights. He will always be missed and remembered. War Punisher!

I like Paul. I wasn't his biggest fan, but it was a pleasure to watch him box. You can add me to that list of not forgetting him. I know it has to be a miracle for him to walk again, but I hope in his lifetime he is able to walk again, even if it is with a cane or walker.

Seeing Canelo's conditioning there is no way he would have with stood the 100 punches per round that Williams had to offer unless Canelo caught him like Martinez did.

TS: williams is unable to walk right now. i don't think he can move his legs at all. barring some serious advancement in either medicine or prosthetics he will almost certainly never walk again.

Maybe he wanted some privacy, if not then shame on the boxing community who seem to have forgotten about him so quick. there are plenty of fans who will never forget paul williams.

their is never gonna be any update or any new news, he's paralyzed his boxing career is over, he be lucky to make local news with some community contributions or something along those lines but anything short of a miracle (walking again) he wont make any headline news. Paul Williams we miss you champ! We might get one of those articles like, "PHOTOS: Paul Williams Crashes the 47th Annual WBC Awards Dinner" or something. Maybe some pics of him in the chair shaking his fist and smiling next to another former champ or something.

Last I heard he was still in the chair but his spirits were good.
