What are your thoughts on Mauro Renallo as a commentator?

Didn't like Gus don't like him either

I want him to go away based on his voice alone. That embellished voice just grates on me. Boxing is a real, classic sport and not "sports entertainment". His actual play by play abilities are decent, but he still needs to go.

I don't like that fool. He sounds like a WWE guy.

real talk man sounds like some ufc aka wwe commentator He started off doing small time wrestling commentary in Vancouver...he has never been able to break away from that ridiculous/annoying tone. He knows nothing about boxing and is a total goof. I wish they would axe him...I sent them an email telling them as much some time ago.

He is great for boxing, and everyone understands him. Great asset to boxing!

I think he fits. Is he great for boxing and knowledgeable? No, but he fits. I love their current crew from Brian to Pauline. They just flow. Best crew since I started watching boxing IMO.

The only thing I hate about him is the way he shakes his head when he talks. Like he is shitting the words out.

Previously he'd been doing PBP commentary for MMA events that wasn't UFC. (Pride, EliteXC, Strikeforce) Do you like him as a boxing commentator for Showtime? He could be worse but he only states certain facts. He was talking about Matthysse having the best KO rating in boxing.....Wlad's is pretty good and you can't get any better than 100% (Deontay Wilder). He reminds me of a salesman a little bit....but he could be worse.

he and bas rutten get super high together. beliedat. I don't care what anyone says Bas is my favorite commentator out of any sport period.
