It's funny how soon as a fighter in and around 140-154 KOs someone they are the next God to beat Floyd and everyone is shook...I hated the way the Matthysse was being built up to be some sort of deity that Garcia was so scared of. I have nothing against Lucas, but his fanboys made me like him less - even yesterday just before the fight there was a topic about how daft fighters and experts were for predicting that were picking Danny to outbox Lucas...I had money on Garcia and I'm glad Danny took care of business and I would love to see his dad continue to rub it in everyone's faces because his son was being dissed big time in the lead up to the fight.

He was drilling Garcia during the 1st half of the fight until his eye got swollen. He got like 2 rds figuring out how to fight with a closed eye, receiving good punches from Garcia. Then, in round 10 Lucas started hot and poised ready to knock Garcia out, but the mouthpiece went to Philly and that changed the momentum a bit. Garcia is a paper champ, he couldnt even dominate a guy with 1 eye closed. Lucas will get it right in a rematch lol ..
